”Upon my stay arriving late and driving as far as I did, I had no time to really observe my room get dressed and leave. I actually had to leave right away. I informed them that my AC was not blowing out and I have to take care of it when I get back. Never have a moment to use the bathroom until I came back to the hotel later that night the entire bathroom rink of mildew. I can’t stand it. ”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

My room was at the absolute opposite end of the hotel from the back. Had to wander back and forth down endless hallways, Room looked like it was used for odds and ends. Mattress was not comfortable. ”Nice view of the lagoon from the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate, though I would prefer plain yogurt in individual cups. The air freshener in the room is a bit strong for my taste, but not a problem with some airing. On the whole I had a good experience and would stay there again.”

Vähän meteliä 1/101 tiestä mutta silti kaiken kaikkiaan todella hyvä kokonaisuus.”

”I’m honestly surprised this hotel has such high ratings because our experience was very disappointing. Walking into the property felt more like stepping into an outdated motel than a hotel. While I understand that you “get what you pay for,” the ratings online made us expect something much better, so it felt very misleading. The first room we were given had lights that didn’t even work, so we had to go back and request another room. The replacement room we were given clearly wasn’t ready yet....
