”We had a grand time staying at the Afton Inn! If I had any questions the host responded in less then 10 minutes! The Inn was immaculate, and the staff I talked with were extremely kind and helpful. This is Inn gets an A+. Many years ago I suffered a spinal issue that I never disclose to people. However, the first night we stayed the King Bed felt wonderful! Yet, in the morning my old wounds came back to haunt me. I texted the host, and I was moved immediately to another room that had a firmer...

”Room was very clean. It appeared to have been updated however the chair in the room was old and stained. I didn’t realize the entrance to the room are on the outside of the building. The building appears to be an old Red Roof Inn Motel. No elevator and you need to go outside to access lobby and breakfast. Parking area was well lit. ”

”Everything was great, the 2 girls trying to get everyone in a room while the system was done were phenomenal. Stayed there twice in the last week, highly recommend. ”

”The room was nice and clean. there were flies comming in upstairs but that is truely typical of a house of this age. The owner had asked us to pay a couple of taxes that were not listed in the price (not sure it is ethical/legal/moral) - they close by 9 or you have to pay a $50 late fee A fee - no food was availible unless you arange ahead of time. over all for a B&B style experience I was ok wth it.”

”Our inkeepers were so great, made us feel welcome and cared for. The location was awesome, near the Cave Hill Brewery, several nice restaurants, and a spa close by. we were close to skiing, and overlooking Massanutten resort. The Inn was perfect, clean and cozy. Thank you ”

”Room faced the road and near interstate, so it was always noisy. But if you’re a heavy sleeper it shouldn’t be a problem. ”

”Room was very clean for the price. The heat/ac unit was a little noisy but doesn't bother me. Helps drown out any noise from other rooms around you. Will stay again next time we go skiing at wintergreen. ”

”Fabulous, spacious layout. Good quality kitchen facility, dish ware, utensils. Higher end toiletries provided. Comfy bed and linens. Very clean. Some noise from area businesses and other occupants well into the evening, but we put the provided noise machine to good use and all was well. We loved this stay, it felt quite posh, and was extremely comfortable. ”
