”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”

”Good location. Hotel quite outdated. No restaurant open or breakfast available. Price cheap so a lot is forgiven for that. Gym was ok, pool not good for swimming but doable. ”

”Just an overnight stay for us. Our children loved the duplo, tent, drafts set and the water pressure in the shower! A nice wee set up with a classic bach feel.”

With daily room service provided without needing to request it, I appreciated that there was even dishwashing liquid available for the dirty dishes. The bed was cozy and comfortable. Overall, it was great value for money, and I will definitely come back again.”
