”Great place to stay at! Close to the Bay Area and beach. We saw kiters riding. Hopefully we will try next time too! The place is easy to find and we loved the area even more than Auckland. The place is clean and cozy. Very convenient to check in and out ”

”Good location. Hotel quite outdated. No restaurant open or breakfast available. Price cheap so a lot is forgiven for that. Gym was ok, pool not good for swimming but doable. ”

”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”
