”We really enjoyed our 4-night stay in the Gatsby suite. It’s clean, beautifully decorated, well-stocked and very comfortable. Great location brimming with excellent restaurants, outdoor patios, cute cafés and eclectic shops. With the Metro station close-by, we were able to forego renting a car and took transit everywhere. ”

”Great location and the space itself has potential, but the experience with the host and the condition of the unit was disappointing. The host did not respond to any messages before or during our stay when we tried to address several concerns. At one point, a man entered the space unannounced saying he was there to fix the smoke alarm, which was concerning since we had not been notified. When I contacted the owner about this, they did not reply. On the second morning, the smoke detector started...

”Our stay started off poorly, as the host had us checking in a day late, when clearly the reservation was correct. Then, he would not respond to my messages or to VRBO when they called him repeatedly. We had to wait at the airport for an hour while VRBO attempted to contact him. Finally, they were able to reach him and we received our check in information. Upon arrival, the unit was not very clean as there was long brown hair in both showers. In addition, there was a strong sewage smell...

”There are a lot of things to list. I’m not a person who likes to write reviews, but this place was pretty bad. Extremely basic. Photos didn’t look like the actual living area. No little things like pillowsor extra blankets they only supplied two crunchy towels, no face towels or anything. No coffee or filters things that most hotels have as a convenience. Although it says they have parking, we had a lot of trouble with the app and then once that was sorted out, there were not a lot of spots...

”Great little spot in a lovely neighborhood. Quick walk to cafes, restaurants and a grocery store, situated close to downtown and the water.”

”The condo was clean, nice bedding and excellent location. Very disappointed in communication with host. We could not find the hair dryer and one of the tvs had issues. Communication was quite delayed (20hrs) and never rectified….sent several follow-up messages, again no resolution….disappointing. There were also no hand towels and one facecloth in bathroom, annd no dish towels or sponges. Also, could hear other tenants, not well soundproofed. This rental could be a 5 with a few touches and...

”Perfect location to get to the subway with one stop to Jean-Drapeau. Clean and comfortable.”

”I had reserved this place for my parents for its practicality, thinking it would just be a comfortable place for them to sleep and shower while they spent most of their time out and about during the day. However, I found this apartment to be lacking in several key areas. It's small and at the top of several flights of stairs. This wouldn't normally be an issue in and of itself, but it would have been good to know. Inside, the bed is also quite small and the temperature is difficult to control....

”The host was great - responded very quickly to questions both before and during our stay! It was below zero outside the whole weekend, and the heat worked well, no issues! Very cozy condo. Also, great wireless and hot water/water pressure. Both bathrooms were especially nice. I recommend backpacks or shoulder bags for carrying luggage up the back spiral stairs from your car (nice to have a parking spot). Also, note the back stairs are to the right of the parking spot when facing the building....
