Hostellit – North Tipperary

”Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring”

”Overall, we had a great stay. The room was huge and the beds were very comfortable, although dated with furnishings. This wasn’t really an issue because it added to the overall charm of the place. The breakfast was amazing. Don’t even think of getting a package that doesn’t include breakfast. It was marvelous. We did have one rather uncomfortable experience with the attendants in the pool and gym area. We were just walking around, checking it out, fully dressed ( lol) …it was very obvious that...

”This is a great, family friendly property that make fantastic use of its space. The host was warm, welcoming and easy to communicate with.”

”The staff were so lovely and accommodating! Our room was luxurious and we had a lovely view of the river. They even put a happy birthday dessert plate in the room for my husband- very kind! I do want to say that the leisure/pool center was quite a disappointment. It is very outdated and so dirty that I didn't even end up putting my suit on to use the facilities. The whole center could really use some updating and TLC. My family lives locally and used to have a membership to the facility but had...

”There was a lot of messages to read and i found the automated "virtual" check in and check out a bit clunky and unintuitive. I had to phone recepgion for help with both processes. I prechecked in and wojld have benefitted from a confirmation stating my key would be waiting. Coffee machine but no coffee. Post the WiFi and password more prominently”

”Property met my requirements in every way and exceeded my expectations”

”Uncomfortable pillows, far from the city centre. Options at breakfast were limited. All in all the Hotel was stuck at the 80's.”

”It's a decent place to stay. The staff is great. Just aging and so many little details in poor condition. And now this isn't the hotels fault per say but very noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other rooms talking and TV playing. Heater was on in my bathroom and the knob was broken so couldn't turn it off.”

”Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again.”

”We had a truly wonderful stay at Riverdale House! The room was beautiful, extremely clean and well prepared for guests. Neil and Avril were so friendly and warm, and gave great recommendations for local experiences! Neil even wrote a detailed list of a west coast driving tour for us to embark on (which we did!) and it was out of this world! Highly recommend this lovely B&B - we will be back! Caitlin & Josh”
