”The location is wonderful... steps from the castle and from shops and cafes. The hotel is beautiful, especially the entry and seating area. There is a steak house in the hotel. The rooms were nice, very comfortable mattress and pillows. Everything was clean and new. The pool, gym, sauna, and steam rooms were a wonderful addition.”

The staff were very prompt and friendly in answering any correspondence regarding our stay. I would thoroughly recommend The Malt Store as accommodation if visiting this part of Ireland. ”Place had everything to welcome us in. Tea, coffee, biscuits, water, etc. Soft towels, good bed, excellent breakfast. I’d give it 5 stars but don’t want to raise expectations too much. For the price point, it’s excellent value. Better than most B&Bs in its class. Bathroom and TV were functional but small. If size of either is a big deal to you, be advised.”
