”Not enough lighting outside. It was extremely dark. You had to get out if your car and basically start to climb the stairs before the sensor lights came on. Lights are needed when you drive up and get out of the car too. I am handicapped and aged. More lighting is needed ”

”My teenage daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had a great time looking for moose, going on the Katahdin ferry cruise, hiking the Appalachian trail, and other activities. The cabin was perfect for us. It had enough space for us both to have our own space as well as for eating together. We appreciated the texts from the owners of the cabin when we had questions (nothing major) and loved being in “moose country. ”

”House was well stocked with everything including pans, silverware, dishes, towels, shampoo, kayak & canoe, dock, paddles, outdoor seating, fire pit. No bugs outdoors. Only complaint was backyard was not mowed & lots of vegetation around fire pit & no life jackets (had to drive into town to rent some).”

”We had an absolutely incredible time at this Monson home. The location was perfect; very secluded with private access to kayak on the lake where we got to observe the natural wildlife of the area. There was great local hiking and the center of town is only a few minutes away. The home was exactly as listed and was stocked with kitchen supplies for our homecooked meals. It was the perfect space for our family/friend vacation and we hope to stay here again!”

Very peaceful setting with a deck and seating down by the lake for reading as well as one attached to the house for morning coffee. Several excellent restaurants just a few minutes away.
