”Small rooms…little room for two suitcases. Basic but adequate breakfast. Easy location…easier to drive to town center. Good for night before WWII beaches. AC not very strong. Noise could be heard from outside hotel (guests watch TV, horses at vet clinic) and inside (kids on a field trip enjoying the next room over!) Adequate, but nothing special.”

”First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. ”The staff was super-friendly and made the stay pleasurable. The only downside is that the room gets really warm and there is no air conditioning.”

”The proprietor was was very friendly and the place was amazing with all of the WWII artifacts and material. The place is from around 1850 and filled with charm. This is an immersive experience into the Normandy coast, not a cookie cutter chain hotel. Highly recommend!”
