”First night before joing a boat was a dorm room...bed was comfy but the ladder to the top bunk was really difficult and the room too hot for me (air con set at 24). They kindly stored my luggage whikst i was overnight on the boat and i returned to a twin room. It was beautiful although being ground floor there were occasional smells in the bathroom. Yes, there's some music noise but its not on too late and nothing ear plugs can't solve. Didnt get to use the stunning roof top pool, but did eat...

”We enjoyed our stay here. The private room is large and quite clean, bed was comfy and clean also. Very close to all the restaurants and shops etc. we didn’t eat at the hostel restaurant but from what we saw it looked nice. Short motorbike ride to great beaches”

”This hostel was really nice, from the reception to the room to the breakfast , all very nice. I stayed for 5 nights , the first couple nights I stayed in the deluxe room and the last 3 in a standard double. I had planned on hotel hopping around the island but Gili Buana was so relaxed I was happy to stay put. As A solo traveler I felt very welcome. Aisje the manager was an amazing hostess, she invited me for sunset and dinner a couple nights which was lovely. I highly recommend this hostel. ”

”I was bitten by insects as soon as I entered the place.There was holes in the mosquito net, I voiced my concerns with the staff, who listened but did nothing. At night I was very bitten by mosquitoes. There is very little ventilation as no windows, so the heat builds up, the fan is inadequate to cool you down. The bathroom is outdoors and does not have any privacy. I ended up staying somewhere else, and paying again. The guest book had comments from other customer's voicing the same...

”This was a lovely place to stay at a great price. I stayed in one of the hill side villas with a private pool. The view was amazing. This place is not crowded…it was quiet with great staff. "Everything from start to finish was a complete experience. Tranquility of the resort was something we were looking from our trip to Lombok. Katamaran was just the right choice. The villas with private pool offered privacy and the perfect place to rest. Services and facilities work and are clean and they have the best staff! You can have the best infrastructure and land but the staff is the part that makes the place. Here in Katamaran every single one who we met from the staff was amazing. Yadi from the staff helped us with everything more than we could expect. Really one of the best hospitality professionals I've met. To sum it up, Katamaran is going to my top favorite hotels and we hope to have the opportunity to return maybe even next year."
