”This was the third year in a row I stayed at the Morgan Hotel in Oak Bluffs for my annual visit to MV. It’s quite good, very nice and convenient. The rooms are clean, each room is slightly different in configuration and design, unlike chain hotels, with very nice bathrooms. Highly recommended.”

”Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Room was clean, and the ferry is just a short walk. My only critique is that the bathroom window has no shade or frosted glass, so people walking down the sidewalk or driving by can see right in. ”

”I was quite worried after reading a previous review on what we were going to experience during our stay at the Carleton Circle, but we were on a strict budget so I decided to try it. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was warm and welcoming and our room was clean and quiet. It was so close to shopping, restaurants, the beach, and the Cape Cod marathon start. ”I was there for my sister's funeral who lived a block away. Since there were a lot of family going to be there, I chose this hotel as it was convenient, looked nice, close to grocery store, has a restaurant and bar and another family member had stayed there previously. When I returned from a long day, the room was nice, clean and comfortable”

    After five+ months of cold weather, occasional snowstorms and chilly rains, New England acquires an enviable summer spirit. The turquoise, blue waves, though mildly cool in the month of June, shimmer under the watchful eye of the powerful sun. Alternating between dips in the water and lazy siestas on the sand, we thanked our lucky stars for deciding to book a stay at Martha’s Vineyard months in advance, which just happened to coincide with a spectacularly breezy and warm weekend.
