”If you need an elevator ask for the ground floor. It was such a lovely spot and the staff so friendly. I arrived as. Storm hit, which lasted 3 days but there was plenty to do, especially as I really wanted a chilled and non hectic holiday. Catching the local bus was easy to get around, but if you’re adventurous, go on a stroll to Edgartown. I know I walked for about 2 and a bit hours, but got to walk over the “Jaws” bridge. ”As a first time visitor to the vineyard, I didn’t know what to expect. I was very pleasantly impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the room and the beautiful gardens. The hotel is very unassuming from the outside but once you come through the entryway, it’s as if you’re walking through another time. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and shopping. Even more convenient is that it is across the street from the ferry. I look forward to my next visit. ”

”This apartment was a great location to walk to the shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. We typically don't rent 1 bed/1 bath properties but we would rent this one again. It was very large and very clean and comfortable. The morning sun, coming in from over the ocean was beautiful each morning and we could sit out on the balcony with our coffee and people watch. ”Nice inn with comfortable and clean units. Not spectacular, but it's one of the few affordable places on the island. Some people might be put off by the location, a mile south of Oaks Bluff. But it's got Noman's, a great restaurant with live music, and it's right on the bus line. Also you can walk 15 minutes to the beach. Units not soundproof, you can here some noise from your neighbors. Great pool and tennis courts.”
