It was a lovely place to stay. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable. Being able to watch the breathtaking sunsets both nights from the comfort of the rooftop patio was perfect. The house had all the amenities needed and was clean and very cute!

Our family had a wonderful time at this property.There was a meteor shower the first night and it was pure magic to watch shooting stars over the water from the deck. Our first overnight outing with our 5 year old grandson!! He was so excited to stay up late to see all the stars. The next night we watched a beautiful sunset too. Really a special get away at the beach with big waves and lots of rocks to collect on the beach while the tide was out. Great water views and a quiet enclave of homes that was easy to get to from the ferry and nearby communities. The property is well maintained and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.Having an extra twin bed in the bedroom was perfect, so he did not have to sleep in another room. There is a pullout bed in the living room that would work for older kids. We hope to go again next summer! We also enjoyed seeing Navy jets, Coupeville waterfront and Camp Casey on our trip, We loved everything about being on Whidbey Island including how close it is to home.So happy to find a great place to stay!

Very beautiful, if we ever come back to the island thats where we would love to stay. Shared pictures and videos with family. My 7 year old granddaughter stayed one night with us she was just mesmerized, thought grandma was a millionaire. Lol.

Nice place with beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay at this property, however there were some things that we weren’t happy with. We could not get the fireplace to work, the living room furniture was terribly terribly uncomfortable and the TV was very hard to figure out! The thing that makes this place worth staying at is the location and amazing views. The view made the other things tolerable.

Broken amenities

I stayed here last year and the top three things that brought me back were 1. Location 2. Watching sunset from the hot tub every night 3. Enjoying the deck with the fire pit at night. The Hot tub was broken. Called management and someone came out and said it’s been broken for awhile. Fire pit was not working, said it was broken. The Title of this listing has “with hot tub” in it. They should have informed us prior to our stay that these items weren’t working. There are many rentals with a great location we could have gone to but I wanted the experiences of the hottub and fire pit for three nights as I had last year. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Also when we called within an hour of getting there ( because we checked right away on hot tub) they sent someone the next day and while she called her manager, she (the manager) said well it’s broken what do they want us to do. She was very rude. We own a rental and I would want to know about this. Hopefully the owners will see this and address the broken items and offer some sort of a refund. If the items listed in the description are in working order, then this place is worth it, but when there are only a few amenities listed, they need to be in working order.

Do Not Stay Here!

I would not stay here again unless the property management changes. *The property had not been cleaned… I’m talking hair all over the bathroom. Vacasa sent someone out on day 2 but they did not clean the bathroom again. * The hot tub was cold and controls were locked.It was unusable our whole 3 day stay. I finally got refunds for cleaning (partial) and hot tub but it took alot of pressing on my part.

Nice property, but lacking advertised features

This was a well decorated beachfront property that looked fabulous online, but discovered that advertised washer and dryer were locked in a closet and not accessible. Likewise Internet and TV were non-accessible. A prior renter had pulled out a dead battery from the smoke alarm apparently because it was chirping/beeping and left it on a door trim…but management never replaced the battery. Likewise battery-run clocks in the living room and kitchen had dead batteries and were non-functional. The coffee filters in the cabinet were for a different coffee maker. Icing room carpet was also pretty dirty and needed a cleaning. It would have been a nice stay but these items really negatively impacted our stay.

Initially looks amazing, until you look closely

We checked in after 4 pm as indicated. From the initial appearance (it was getting later in day, curtains drawn, and wanted to walk to beach, looked nice. When we got back we had bought some groceries to cook dinner (restaurants are 15-20 min) all the dishes needed washed before use including glasses (for wine), utensils, plates, and pots. Made tacos for ease. There was no cheese grater. Also, all the places I have stayed the guests before usually leave the spices, oils, basic cooking items, sugar, coffee etc. we suspect the housekeeping or owners take the left over items (I know a lot of people who do this and they leave these items as well), so we needed to get basic items like oil, salt as well. No big deal, but just know. The broken wine glass was left in the cupboard. Everything has a sticky feel. I hand washed everything. The back of the kitchen faucet (wouldn’t be able to see it), had something sticky like jam on it. The house had a distinct odor. We weren’t sure of what it was until my husband had started getting breathing issues and eyes watering and closing, and severe chest tightness. It had to be cats. He is severely allergic: we had to buy and inhaler and congestion allergy items. I messaged the (“if you have questions”, and explained the situation, sent a copy of receipt), and then the games began of not receiving receipt. Limited space, the carpet is stained cobwebs, dirty stained towels and pillows, dorcations caked with dust. See my google for pics

Lovely location and accommodation

Had a minor issue with cleaning, but easily resolved. The property was wonderful and the location spectacular. The whole area has a great deal to offer and we explored it as much as we could in a few days. We’ll be back. Constructive criticism would be that there are a couple of maintenance items that should be addressed (fridge door and deck screen door), and the set of kitchen knives needs to be sharpened or replaced.

Wonderful Mother's Day weekend getaway

My mom, sister, and I love to escape to the Puget Sound for Mom's Day weekend. This was one of the best properties we've stayed at. Great location, gorgeous views, beach access, nicely appointed unit, quiet setting...just lovely! Our only downsides were (1) I could have sworn the hot tub would be available when I booked, only to see a while later that it's only available after Memorial Day--so that was disappointing to us!, (2) the trundle bed is not nearly as comfortable as the main bed--I'd suggest some padding on the bed!, and (3) the bathroom is a bit small for three. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Property was not properly depicted in pictures

Property showed that there was a hot tub, failed to mention that the hot tub was empty. Visited the property with my family of 4, looking forward to the fact that we could all sit out on the deck and enjoy the ocean. Unfortunately they had put the furniture away for the season so there was only seating for 2. We asked the property manager if it might be possible to get a few more chairs so we could enjoy the deck a a family however the property owner was not interested in bringing anything out. Lesson learner, ask questions, do not book your stay off pictures. Other than that it was a great home. Great location.

Superb beach for rock hounds!

Pleasant house (lower floor) and neighborhood right on a popular beach access where a few locals gathered every evening for sunsets and sharing the rock "treasures" we found while walking the beach. The whole west wall is nothing but windows for views of other islands and the peninsula. Only about 10 minutes to Oak Harbor for shopping, on a route to Hwy 20 that, by the way, is amuch more straightforward way to get to this home than Vacasa's directions. As reported by others, using the TV was frustrating. We relied on our iPad to AirDrop our favorite shows to the TV screen. Never did find a way to watch NBC directly. Odd because the Wi-Fi was an Xfinity unit like the one we have at home, so why not have the most basic cable channels? On the other hand, some premium services such as Netflix are available. Anyway...the bed was comfortable, which is always a good thing. Yes, the furnace was loud as others have reported, like an A4 jet hitting afterburner. Weird (excessively ornate, heavy) dishware. Non-stick skillets should be replaced, though no worse than other vacation homes we've visited. (Going to start bringing our own pans and nonstick-safe utensils.) The gas fireplace didn't start reliably, always took some fiddling and relighting the pilot light (and a hint: the glass doors have to be closed for the flames to look at all like wood burning.) No vent for the range, so you might want to avoid cooking fish and other foods with strong aromas!
