When you’re ready to enjoy Oak Island’s famous beaches, a brief stroll takes you to the sand via the 26th Place East beach access in under five minutes. In the evenings, enjoy walking the scenic crossover at 29th Place East toward the Oak Island Rec Center for some of the most amazing sunset views on the island and plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities. Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the waterways via the public kayak launch point on the other side of the boardwalk. And if you decide to undertake an off-island adventure during your stay, this home’s convenient location makes heading to Southport, Wilmington or even Myrtle Beach simple with easy access to either bridge connecting to the mainland.
