”We booked 2 rooms for 2 days. There was a very strong odor of dog urine in the office. The owner/ receptionist had 3 dogs running around in there. The rooms were reasonably clean. However there were used false eyelashes and a couple of press on nails left on top of the microwave. The first day went well. The second day we went to the pool. ”The hotel was quiet, clean, and well maintained throughout - inside and outside (from what we saw, as we did not visit the pool or exercise room for example). Breakfast was as one would expect; well stocked with the typical budget friendly hotel options. The dinning area was adequately clean as well. For the cost of our stay: one night @ 150, I would score the execution by hotel management, and more importantly their hard working staff members as an A-. Well done. Travelers you can stay here...

”It would have been extremely important to be able to have the room dark at night as the outdoor light were shining in all night. You have the have dark blinds that actually work for people to have a chance to sleep. This is the least you can do if you still want to keep the price affordable. ”This is more like a motel, not a resort. There were no towels in the room at all (nor any hand soap in the bathroom) and when we went to ask about them, we were told to come back, that most of them were being laundered. There were bugs in the room. The day before we left, when it was time for us to get cleaned up to go to dinner, I went to the office for clean towels and toilet paper and no one was there so I had to grab a pool towel in order to take a shower. ”Cute remodeled hotel with great parking right next to the Boardwalk. Nice cold A/C, comfortable bed. Very clean room and bathroom. Small but cozy for a couple. We made a quick three day trip for July 4th weekend. Convenient to the beach, restaurants, shops and day trip to Wilmington. We will stay here again!”

”Arrived Friday afternoon to find the outdoor pool water was cloudy and green. Was told by front office staff member Scott it was my choice to swim in it or not. My 6 year old granddaughter was very unhappy with this result. The road construction in front of the hotel with orange cones. Made it difficult to enter and exit, not the fault of the hotel. No white milk on Saturday morning, so no cereal and Sunday no sugar for coffee.”

”The hotel was fantastic and we really enjoyed staying here, our only complaint would be that food was regularly taken away a half hour before the breakfast cut off of 9:30. The cereal would be shut down, waffle batter, or gravy dumped, or waffle irons turned off. If breakfast ended at 9 we would be sure to come down with more time, but my family anticipated a 9:30 cutoff that wasn't followed.”
