Erittäin tyylikkäästi sisustettu kaikilla välttämättömillä tarpeillasi täydelliselle lomalle rannalla. Upea merinäköala tästä huipputason huvilasta. Älä huoli yläkerran meluisista naapureista, koska oleskelet kattohuoneistossa. Mukana jatkettu kaapeli, internet, ulkosuihku, katettu pysäköinti, ulkogrillit, leikkikenttä, valtameren äärellä sijaitseva uima-allas ja kävelytiet rannalle. Sijaitsee vain sillan yli rannan edessä, lähellä Oak Islandin laituria, golfia, ostosmahdollisuuksia, ravintoloita ja paljon muuta. Won't stay here again

Caswell Beach villas are in a great location to enjoy the beach. This unit is not very well taken care of and will not stay here again. This condo seems to be just for rental with no pride of ownership. Needs a lot of repair.

Family Vacation

Liked the view, amenities (pool-beach access). Dislike photos on website do not match current conditions. Needs renovations sooner than later. Actually spent more $ on cleaning supplies at DG than we did on groceries.

ISSUES

The condo has a couple of issues 1. Half of the electrical outlets are either loose and some of them don't work aka bathroom, bedrooms and kitchen. 2. When you have long periods of RAIN the renters should be warned not to park next to the building. We had someone come get us by 8AM Friday morning and ask us to move our vechiles because they were about to be under water. We called the office and maintenence came out and looked at the issue, but the lady next door who owns her condo said it happens all the time. Again advise the renters of possible standing water when you have excessive rain to avoid vechile damage. 3. The condo could use some over all updating. New front screen door, fresh coat of paint, upholstery cleaning especially the kitchen chairs and the bathroom tub drains VERY SLOW. Overall we love Oak Island and had a GREAT TIME.

Perfect spot for beach getaway

The location/access to the beach is unbeatable. With three little ones (ages 2-6) we were a little upset that both the tv's didn't work, but we didn't need them as we spent almost all our time on the beach anyway!

Anniversary Beach Trip

Overall it was a nice stay. When we arrived we found the washing machine has been pulled and was on the front deck. We feel that the rental company should have called us and told us we would be without a washing machine as the listing told us we would have a washer/dryer. When I called maintenance they did offer to let us use another vacant unit to wash out clothes, however. The door to the bedroom was sticking at the top and made a loud noise when entering or leaving as someone was sleeping. But after maintenance came and oiled the hinges it got much better. Overall a beautiful view of the ocean and nice beach unit.

Great location house needs lots of improvements

House must have been closed foe months prior to our visit. Heater not working, no hair dryer, extremely old furnitures, some light bulbs not working, no clean duvet, but just a not really clean light blanket. Great and beautiful location with a view.

Beautiful view and spacious enough for a small family.

When we arrived I was immediately drawn in to the gorgeous ocean view. Definitely a stellar view and the best part about this condo. The condo was moderately clean when we arrived. There was something sticky on the surface of the dresser in the kids' room. The condo is very sparsely decorated. The kitchen is stocked ok but the one pan was dirty and had cuts all in the teflon. We went to Walmart to pick up a new pan to cook with. When we went to unpack our clothes we discovered that there were absolutely NO clothes hangers in any closet. Clothing hangers should be standard in any rental otherwise there really is no point in the closets at all. The washer was functional but does not spin all of the water out of the clothing which resulted in me having to dry every load for at least three hours. The thermostat was also set to keep changing back to 78 on its own! We would wake up at night hot and have to go and turn it back down. I'm sure this was a cost effective setting by the owner but I do feel that my rental fee of almost 1400 should have covered as much A/C as I would like to make us comfortable and not waking at night. The beach was beautiful though and we spent more time outdoors than indoors so overall it was a wonderful vacation.

Comfortable and quiet

We really enjoyed our stay, and the check in/check out process with Better Beach Rentals was quick and easy! The kitchen was well stocked, the couch and beds fairly comfortable, and the views were amazing! We were there on Memorial Day weekend and the beach and pool weren't crowded in the least. I couldn't believe more people weren't there! I't was a relaxing and recuperative stay and I'd recommend it to others. Things to be aware of: You're on the 4th floor, so I suggest packing light as there is no elevator. Also be aware that there are no bathrooms down at the pool, so it's a bit of a walk back from the beach or pool and up 4 flights of stairs. Had we booked this trip with my grandmother, she would have had difficulty. For us it wasn't a problem and the elevation gave us stellar views and we didn't have to worry about noise from upstairs tenants (this is the top level). The bedroom with the twin beds is directly off of the living space, but has slatted louvered doors (like on a closet) so once little ones go to bed, the living room and kitchen are pretty much off limits due to light and noise (at least with my light sleeping kids). There's also no fan in this room and it got a little stuffy. The bathroom was the only true detraction. The shower curtain was mildewed and the seam around the shower needed a good bleaching and caulking. It's a small bathroom with insufficient places to hang towels. It did have a washer and dryer which was very convenient! Overall this was a pleasant stay and I would book again!

We walked in, surface areas were clean... but that's all!

The only plus is that it is Ocean front. The couch, chairs, all throw pillows had visible dried food or filth on them. We had to cover all furniture with sheets. Removed all pillows and bed quilts ( also soiled and obviously not washed between renters) . The bathroom was ok until we went to take a shower and the shower curtain had mold all over it and the drain was plugged so badly that water was ankle deep throughout shower. The ONE towel bar was falling off the wall... The washing machine didn't spin fast enough to release water from clothes The kitchen... there are plenty of dishes ...however, The ONE pot is scorched to the point of peeling.. the frying pan handle fell off when we took it out of the cabinet. We called the rental company and all they said was " sorry". It's obvious that the owner does not vacation in this unit. Very disappointed with this vacation accommodation choice. We have enjoyed numerous vacations through vrbo. We would NEVER recommend this vrbo.

Clean and accommodating

Super clean and stocked. Beautiful view! The Queen mattress was a little uncomfortable for the two of us, and we couldn't get the washer to work. But otherwise a great place.
