Kauniisti uusittu talo, joka sijaitsee vain muutaman askeleen päässä rannalta. Voit kuulla valtameren tästä talosta. Upea merinäköala etukannelta. Tilava takapiha. Talossa on HDTV, langaton Internet, pesukone ja kuivaaja ja täydellinen keittiö.

Ocean crest-laituri on lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Hieno ruokailu Island Way -ravintolassa on myös lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä.

Oak Island on rantakaupunki Pohjois-Carolinassa. Sitä erottaa mantereesta sisävesiväylä. Atlantin rannikko on vuorattu rannoilla, ja kalastajat kokoontuvat pitkälle Ocean Crest -laiturille. Oak Islandin luontokeskuksessa on polkuja sekä näytöitä fossiileista ja kotoperäisistä eläimistä. Itään Oak Islandin majakalta on laajat näkymät Caswellin rantaan ja Bald Head Islandille.

Kaupungissa on myös kunnallinen golfkenttä ja kahdeksan puistoa, jotka vaihtelevat kalastuksesta T saaren länsipäässä suuriin mantereeseen tarkoitettuihin puistoihin, joissa on baseball- ja jalkapallokenttiä. Meressä on skate park, koirapuisto, Cabana näköalatasanteella ja runsaasti paikkoja rauhallisen paikan löytämiseen rentoutumiseen ja näkymien nauttimiseen. Alueyritykset, kuten laiturit ja venesatamat, ravintolat ja jäätelökaupat, auttavat myös lomanviettäjiä tuntemaan olonsa tervetulleiksi tarjoilemalla kokopäiväisiä asukkaita.

Dreamy Beach Getaway!We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable beach bungalow! Waking up to the sound of the waves and having coffee just steps from the sand was pure magic. The decor was charming and beachy without feeling overdone, and the little touches (like beach chairs and games) made it feel like home. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach escape!

This is the cutest beach house we’ve stayed in by far. It’s very spacious and comfortable. The location is unbeatable, directly across from beach access. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!

The description of property lists a dishwasher. There is no dishwasher. This is the reason communicaton get only two stars. Local staff responed promptly when called. $125.00 cash payment for pup, not specified in contract, would have perfered to pay up front. Cooking seafood and the beach kinda goes together. . The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Loved the shower.

Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend this place to others. We were a bit disappointed that some of the cooking pans needed to be washed, a few things needed to be repaired, and, unlike in other locations we've stayed, there were no staples like shampoo or body soap. But, overall, those things were small inconveniences that we navigated and the home was a great place to spend a weekend at the beach with friends. The location was wonderful. Also, the host was responsive and offered an acceptable solution when the check-in time needed to be altered.

Decent place, excellent location. Pre check in communication wasn’t very good. Had to message host twice, once en route day of, only a few hours before check in to get access information. Unit was fairly clean, but could use some detailed cleaning behind furniture. And some fresh paint. Outlets are sparse so bring power strips. Less than 10 minutes of hot water between showers. Minor complaints, but otherwise good stay. Great beach access. Super quiet this time of year. With a little attention this could be a great property.

We enjoyed our stay at Donovan's Reef and can't wait to return! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats on the ocean and listening to the waves! Public access to the beach was right at the home which was wonderful! We loved being able to bring our pup with us! Looking forward to another trip!

Great location across from beach access. It was nice, clean, and quiet. It had everything we needed for a week vacation. Pier was a short walk down the beach drive. The only things i would add are wall tvs in bedrooms, ice maker in refrigerator, closets or armoire in the bedrooms, and towel hangers in bathrooms.

This cozy cottage is perfectly located just steps from the beach and pier. The ocean view is like beach front without the hefty price tag. Holly is an excellent host, prompt to respond with any questions. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed our stayed and hope to return soon!

Beautiful house! This place is awesome! Each room was so spacious and has that perfect beach vibe! We had everything we needed and just a quick walk to the beach, it was the perfect place for us! Thank you!! It's so peaceful and everything you need is there or less than 5 min away! Holly was very kind and quick to respond to any questions we had, since we were driving in from Charlotte. The house is exactly what you see in the advertisement it is clean and close to all things related to the beach and surrounding areas. This was my first Vrbo experience and it could not have been more perfect, Holly was very responsive to my inquiries and flexible to my schedule. I will definitely be coming back!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The access to the beach was great, especially for me. I am late 70's and sometimes walking far is hard since my knees arent what they used to be. Close to driving around Oak Island. Will definitely look for this house again and rent it. Thanks again.

My second time staying at Donovans Reef beach house with my family. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch admiring the beautiful ocean view. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a great time. Walking distance to the beach.

The positives are location, water pressure, nice washer and dryer and contact with Molly. The negatives would be that there is only 1 tv in living room in whole house. The furniture was wet and dirty. The cookware needs replaced due to it being scratched up pots and pans s as no very thin where they burn easily on the stove. There is nothing to do around the house like a fire pit, hammocks. The chairs left for the beach are rusted. The deck is worn as well. The driveway is sand which is a huge inconvenience when you’re trying not to bring sand into the house. So you are at the beach and you go to rinse off in the shower underneath the house you still have to walk up through the drive way of the stairs to get in the house so you cannot get away from the sand. The beds or what I would compare to college dorm, beds, cheap and not comfortable. I had two rolls of toilet paper that they supplied. there is also black mold in the exhaust fan in the bathroom in the hallway between both bedrooms. I will never stay here again, and I will make sure if I do come back to Oak Island. It will definitely be not on the beach.

We loved our stay here back in October! Beautiful view of the ocean, clean surroundings, amazing host! Only thing that could have been better was maybe the beds could have been a little softer :) Otherwise, perfect! You won’t regret staying here!!

We very much enjoyed our time at this beach house. Proximity to beach is great. Sun facing View of the ocean is great from the balcony. Plenty of space for a family. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and cooking gear. Check in was easy and place was clean upon arrival. All the people in the area were very nice and friendly. We would love to come back someday.
