2 bedroom and 2 bath home with Ocean Views. Fabulous location within easy walking distance to the beach, Publix, shops, splash pad, the park and restaurants. Some of our favorites are the BBQ house, OKI Coffee Shop, OKI Scoop Shop and 49th Street Bar and Grill. We are located one block from a public beach access. We have everything you could need in one spot! You are also within walking distance of the Oak Island summer activities such as bands, movies in the park, the new skate park and splash pad.

Another benefit is free parking! Starting April 1st, the town will be charging $20 per day for beach parking. This home gives you beach access without any additional fees since you are just steps away from the ocean.


If you want the best views, rent this section of the home! You can also contact me for a discounted rate for both levels, giving you 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, room to sleep 24 people, 2 fully stocked kitchens, 2 living areas, and 2 private decks.

We decided to give a nod to one of our favorite college teams, the Appalachian State University Mountaineers, and bring our mountain love a little closer to the ocean. The name of our home is "NEER the SeA", with the "A" in traditional AppState fashion. Both of my parents are from Boone, and both attended AppState. My Mother was a huge AppState fan and a lover of Oak Island, so my son and I decided that the name of the home was the perfect tribute to her and her legacy.

There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and two sets of double beds in second bedroom. Also, the hallway includes triple twin bunk beds. You can sleep 9 of you and your closest friends.

House is located on the second street back from the beach with fantastic beach views from your huge covered porch. We provide a beach wagon for carrying all of your essential beach belongings. You will have use of beach chairs and a cooler, an umbrella and a 10 X10 canopy. For fun, there are corn hole boards and a variety of beach or yard games.

You will have tons of outdoor living space in this home with the 9 ft X 30 ft covered deck for enjoying the beautiful Oak Island sunrises and sunsets. Also, with the covered area you can still enjoy the ocean views, even if it rains. The owner's suite gives you the top BEST views. I love to watch the dolphins swim by while I relax on the deck. There is a spacious yard for play and space for parking with 3 cars limit, with room for only one oversized vehicle. Cars should be parked under the home. Larger vehicles should be parked in the driveway. All inside linens are included, but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is also a full size washer and dryer on site so you can head back home with clean clothes.

Unfortunately, there are absolutely NO PETS or ANIMALS and NO SMOKING. I have ADA accommodations for a disability that does not allow me to be in proximity with any fur or feathers, even those that are deemed hypoallergenic. I live in this home as well, so no animals are allowed in either space.

Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Between June and mid-September, we only offer weekly rentals unless otherwise specified. Events may be allowed. Please contact me for more information.

To welcome you to our home, we get you started by providing a welcome kit that includes several trash bags, a roll of paper towels, 3 rolls of toilet paper, snacks, and more.

Check-in is at 4pm EDT. Check-out is at 10am EDT.

We decided to make our first trip to Oak Island and picked this amazing beautiful beach home. The owner is so amazing and helpful and the property is perfect. It’s less than a 2 min walk from the beach and the rooms are simply beautiful. This whole experience was amazing and we will be using this owner and their property for MULTIPLE visits back to the beach this year! The add ons, the things you get with using this property, simply make it the perfect choice all around! Get yourself reserved for this place!!

The home is beautiful & very close to the beach. Literally like a block away. This was a plus! We also got to check in early, which was nice. However, when we arrived the floors did not feel clean and there was not a broom or mop available. No shoes are allowed in the home which is great, but considering you’re at the beach, sand is going to enter the home still. There was a vacuum present but that seemed to blow the sand around more than anything. Besides the floor issue, decor all throughout the home was tagged with BLUE painters tape. This did not give a welcoming vibe. Felt more like stay away. As a matter of fact it caused us to have our guards up. Despite that everything seemed to be going well until our last night/day there. Our stay was with 9 people, 5 of those being kids from ages under one to 9. We were there to celebrate my son’s 1st birthday which was include in my reservation details. Our last night we received a message from the owner about several complaints being made about noise. Mind you, we were placed on the top floor with kids so there is always going to be some noise. On top of the complaints after checkout, I had received a messaged about being fined $1k for a piece of artificial wood peeling on the bunk bed that was lifted upon arrival. The cleaner also pointed out to the owner that the outdoor rug was damaged. This outdoor rug with constant sun exposure already worn way before our stay. I felt like they were looking for a reason to fine us.

Excellent beach house location and very well maintained! We were on the top floor with a great view of the ocean. Beach is a short 5 minute walk. Really appreciated the beach chairs, sand toys, and pop up tent made available to guests. Our kids really enjoyed the swings underneath.

We loved all the details! This house is beautifully decorated, well stocked and in the perfect location. Close to restaurants, shopping, ice cream, and of course, the beach! We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful beach house!

A beautiful and comfy condo located walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. A nice covered deck with relaxing views of the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils you need. And a plethora of games and puzzles for indoor activities.
