Kaunis ylellinen viktoriaaninen talo, 4 makuuhuoneen 2-kylpy, joka sijaitsee arvostetulla Alameda Gold Coast -alueella, lähellä Oaklandin lentokenttää, muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä rannalta, helppo kuljetus San Franciscolle lautalla, baarilla tai bussilla, lähellä Oakland Coliseumia, Oracle Arena ja UC Berkeley sijaitsevat keskeisellä paikalla lähellä keskustaa Webster Street, täynnä kahviloita, ravintoloita, ruokakauppoja. Tämä on kaunis viktoriaaninen talo, rakennettu vuonna 1908, ja siinä on ihastuttavia vintage-yksityiskohtia kaikkialla, ja hiljattain ylelliset päivitykset ylhäältä alas. Se on sisustettu French Country -teemalla. Kaupunginosa on hiljainen, turvallinen ja vieraanvarainen. Talo on varustettu nopea internet (ilmainen wifi), taulutelevisio ja pesukone / kuivausrumpu.

Olen erittäin rento ihminen. Jokainen vieras kunnioitetaan ja siitä hoidetaan oleskelunsa aikana. Ehdottomasti mitään ongelmaa, jos rikkoat lautasen, lasin tai raaputat vahingossa pöytää tai vuotaa jotain matolle. Asiat on tarkoitettu käytettäväksi ja vieraiden tulisi elää vapaasti vierailunsa aikana.
Asun Santa Clarassa, 45 minuuttia Alamedasta etelään. Ei paikan päällä useimpina päivinä, mutta aina saatavana puhelimitse tai tekstiviestillä, ja kiinnittää vieraisiin välitöntä huomiota. Ystävälliset naapurini Dean ja Stacy tarjosivat apua hätätilanteissa. Aikuinen poikani Sean (25) asuu puolen mailin päässä kiinteistöstä ja pystyy auttamaan.

Great home base for multi-generational family stay

We traveled to the Bay Area with our two kids (6 and under) and my parents. The house had ample space for all of us in a great, family friendly location. It was easy to find street parking for two cars right on the block. In addition to the many restaurants in Alameda, there's quick access to downtown Oakland and the major freeways. The beds and bedding were comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the backyard. Given that the bedrooms connect through commons spaces and/or a very small central hallway, we did have to tip toe around a bit while our kids were falling asleep, but there were lots of doors we could close and it worked out fine, just something to note if you have any sensitive sleepers. We did find the bathroom amenities to be understocked when we arrived (no body wash in the dispensers or tissues in the bathrooms), but we were able to find everything where the host had indicated, and Diana was quick to respond to a question we had. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to other families.

Alameda house

My first experience with a VRBO so not sure of what to expect. House was clean. Beds comfortable. Hot water in bath between bedrooms was too hot and could not be controlled. A safety hazard for sure. Seven of us having to use one shower made it difficult to keep up with our schedule. Difficult washing and rinsing hair especially hard. I did not contact the owner.about the problem.

Lovely house in a great location

We were a group of seven: 4 adults and 3 children (all under 8). The house was lovely, with plenty of room for our group. It was very well supplied with everything we needed for cooking and housekeeping. The location is great for small children with two playgrounds and the beach within walking distance. For the adults, there is a friendly coffee shop just a few blocks away. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would look forward to staying here again.

Comfortable in every way and room for everyone

Host was very quick to respond to messages. Very nice walkable neighborhood. We had a minivan so had to park on the street but there was always space available on the same block. Beds were very comfortable. House was clean. Having a back porch was a plus for the young adults in the group to escape from the old fogeys. Having a couple of desks in the place was very useful. Pictures might not be 100% up to date - I believe room four now has two twin beds rather than a twin plus a full futon (Better imo). There is also a spare twin in one of the closets. We made the right choice with this place.

Exactly what we wanted

The house is adorable. The pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, lots of space for multigenerational family. We love Alameda. The house was very well cleaned. Lots of towels and blankets. Heat worked well to keep us comfortable during the cool nights. Loved walking around the neighborhood. The homes are gorgeous in the area. We were able to make our Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen (although some items were purchased pre-cooked). We played cards around the table in the evenings. Everyone was comfortable. (Please check the legs on the kitchen table chairs, a couple may not last much longer). Note: the wifi works better towards the back of the house so the tv in the front room wasn’t able to connect. The kitchen could use a regular toaster.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood

Beautiful home for the weekend

This house is exactly as listed in the ad. It is beautiful and in a great location. We were able to walk to the water and to some local parks. Everything was clean and Diane was easy to communicate with. She even brought in a pack n play and high chair for my daughter. I will definitely be staying again.

A Cozy Getaway

Great home in a quiet neighborhood

This house was great for our group of 9. The house is decorated with many cute accents that makes it feel very homey. The kitchen is a nice size and could accommodate our group. The neighborhood is quiet. Parking on the street was easy. The front porch and backyard have nice outside seating after a busy day in the city.

Wonderful place

Easy to check in, super good location: safe, quiet and on street parking. Kitchen well equipped, very comfy beds, spacious and lovely back yard. Host replies quickly to all questions. Alameda is a beautiful place to stay, great alternative to San Fran if you want a quieter and safer spot.

Beautiful property and great location!

This is probably the best vacation rental I've used. My grandkids loved it! The beds are very comfortable, the bath towels are good quality and the attention to details were great. The neighborhood is adorable and the neighbors were friendly. The ferry terminal into San Francisco is close by and it was so convenient! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Nice house with comfortable beds

This house looks better in person. The beds were comfortable and it seemed well cleaned. Although the outside seating was nice, the guest felt uncomfortable using it, because there was a bit of a privacy issue. Since our group consisted of all women, getting ready for a formal event we noticed that the home did not have a full length mirror. Which isn't a bad thing, but it would be a nice touch to add for future guest.
