Cozy Renovated Bay View Apt in Oakland w/ Parking

Newly remodeled apartment in the Oakland Hills with stunning view of San Francisco Bay. Enjoy a full kitchen, table overlooking the Bay and a small sunny balcony. The comfortable bedroom also offers a partial Bay view. Visitors from all over the world are welcome in this quiet neighborhood situated between Holy Names College and Mills College.

Park your car in the driveway and walk a few stairs to this charming apartment with its own private entrance. Hang your coat in the hallway and enter the generous open living room/kitchen. Make yourself a cup of coffee, have a seat at the table and enjoy the Bay view.

In the mornings you will love to sit here and let your eyes sweep over the Bay. Otherwise you can lounge on the sofa, read (there are some good books and travel guides) or watch TV (we have Netflix and Amazon Access).

There is a queen size bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Comfortable couch and a table with seating. The couch was recently replaced and is brand new. The kitchen has a stove, oven and a mini-fridge, coffee maker and microwave.

The home has recently undergone an extensive renovation including a new roof, new heating system, hand rail along the sidewalk for the apartment guests, and new driveway.

All guests are required to sign a rental agreement and follow the House Rules. We truly appreciate your understanding—this added step helps protect our home, especially after a few past experiences with guests that resulted in lost time and unexpected costs.

Guests have private access to the entire apartment, one parking spot on the driveway, and a little sunny balcony.

A hosting company will be available to guests for any questions or emergencies.

Single family homes define the traditional Laurel Heights area. Young professionals and families live together in this quiet residential neighborhood.

In five minutes driving distance you are in the gorgeous Redwood Heights area where you can walk miles through the redwood forest. And ideal mixture of city life and nature.

Minutes from buses including trans-bay buses to San Francisco and buses to Bart that takes you around the East Bay and into San Francisco. The closest Bart station is Fruitvale which is 2.7 miles from the house. It takes approx. 25-45 minutes to drive to San Francisco depending on traffic and time of day. The Oakland Airport is 7.8 miles, approx. a 20 minute drive.

You can park one car on the driveway, there is also street parking. The apartment has it`s own private entrance and you cannot access the main house and vice versa. Your space is completely private.

The apartment is below the main house that is also listed on hosting platforms. You may hear sounds like footsteps or running water.

There is no smoking of any kind allowed in or around the house. If the unit smells of smoke you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.

Mail and packages cannot be delivered to the apartment during your stay. If you need something delivered to you, there are mail centers in the area that can receive and hold packages for you. We are not responsible for any packages delivered, before, during or after your stay.
- No parties or events
- Out of respect for our neighbors, quiet hours are between 10pm - 7am
- No shoes inside (flip flops, slippers, socks are fine)
- No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere on the premises (go to the front curb outside)
- Turn off lights, TV, heater & stove when not in use
- The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation.
- No pets allowed
- Conserve water, California is currently in a drought
- Recycle & Compost if you can
- Please consume or take all leftover food. Extra food beckons little critters and bugs!
- No commercial photography or filming is permitted on the property.
- Please only deposit toilet paper in the toilets please, the home has small pipes
- Renter is liable for any damage to the property and agrees to accept charges to the card on file should damage occur during occupancy.
- A late check-out fee will be applied for check-outs as this will affect our cleaning team and following guests.
- During your stay of 30 days or more. If utilities (water, trash, electricity & gas) go over a total of $150, you will be requested to pay the difference if it is excessive. During the winter, San Franciscans wear layers of clothing to avoid high electric bills.
-Please be aware of your energy usage, especially during peak hours which are between 4-9pm each day. We appreciate guests helping to conserve energy.
