”We had an incredible time at this property!! A little slice of heaven which is hard to find these days. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, sitting on the deck and dock with a cup of coffee. The house is wonderful, wouldn't change a thing! Roger and Elaine were so welcoming and responsive. When there was a kayak paddle missing they came within 10 minutes with a replacement! We would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! ”

”My family loved our stay at this cozy home on the lake. The views of Porter Lake are stunning and nothing beats having your morning coffee while watching the sun rise up over the lake and listening to the loons say good morning. Being able to kayak or canoe out onto the lake for fishing or exploring the nearby beach was great. My boys found a little island with a rope swing for jumping into the lake and spent a lot of time there having fun. I personally enjoyed floating on the raft chair during...

”Very relaxing! Great screened in porch where we spent most of our time if we weren’t fishing or floating in the water. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. Very clean. It was a great family vacation! Only negative was there are many big rocks and seaweed in the water. No place to walk in. So kayaking, canoeing and floating are your best choices. Would go back!! ”

”Great location, easy to walk to the General Store, Tubby’s and Farmer’s Market. From Wayne, it’s an easy drive to the coast or to the mountains for a hike. The house is clean and lots of room, as well as a spacious front deck looking out over Androscoggin Lake.”

”This house was just what we needed to cap our summer. All 5 of us gasped when we pulled in and saw the view! Kayaking and smores...rinse, repeat. Only tiny downside was the busy street which cut down on taking walks, but left more lake time! The photos don't do justice to the cleanliness and spaciousness. We hope to retuen,next summer and rent a boat for the week. Thank you!”

”Property was very charming, very clean and very quiet at night. As a senior citizen, the slope of the drive and walking up the steps was challenging at times. There was no lock on the door when we arrived. We walked right in. That was a little unnerving. The TV in the bedroom did not work that is it was not connected to the service and the bed in the front bedroom would move and whatever it is it’s underneath it would move and eventually the bed would feel like you’re at an angle. It woke me up...

Everything we needed was available at the house: utensils, basic kitchen supplies, coffee maker, grill, toys, books, kayaks, beach chairs - you name it.
