”My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Our unit had one bedroom, one bathroom, a small kitchen, and a small living room area with a sleeper sofa. The unit was updated and very clean. The kitchen was adequately stocked and there was a space saver microwave/oven mounted over a 2 burner stove top for cooking. ”This property was great! It was a great location for us and was very clean upon arrival. Nicely equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen as well as sheets and towels. The use of the golf cart was awesome!! Communication with the boat was easy and he responded quickly. The information book provided by the host was also helpful. Great place that we would definitely rent again!”

”We had an awesome week at Hunter Haven! The beach decor was perfect! We had everything we needed and wanted. The king bed was roomy and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. We were happy we could bring along our 2 little dogs Yogi and Clementine who had a great time. We found amazing shells and the weather was perfect. The food was delicious. ”The home has the normal wear and tear but is still very nice. Lots of room for a big family or groups. The beach is just over the sand dune, maybe a 2 minute walk. Pool was great. Only issue we had was the bedroom on the third floor had A/C issues and it took a few days before they brought out a portable unit to use in there. Overall it was a great trip and I would recommend staying here”

”The location is awesome. Very short walk to the beach. The home was decent. Beds were comfortable. House was pretty clean. The washing machine was broken before we got there and we weren’t told. It wouldn’t drain, so after trying to use it we had to empty the water with buckets. Over the next few days I called the property manager at least 5-6 times. Nobody would tell me when/if it would be fixed. Finally I drove to the property management office. They told me I could use the washing machine...

”Home was well equipped. Kitchen cupboards were not cleaned need to be wiped out. Trash cans were full when we arrived, making disposal of our garbage difficult also increased the fly problem. Extra pillow cases would have been nice there were plenty of pillows just no linens also there were no linens for the hide a bed . Location was great. Views from the deck was amazing. The lay out of the house was ideal for our family.”

”The house was very clean, the colors were bright but we loved it. It was big enough for our family. There are a lot of stairs. The beach is very close and if you can’t go to the beach because of weather there is a swimming pool and hot tube just make sure you have bug spay. The only draw back is the houses are so close together. I would definitely go rent this house again”

”The location was great. Just a couple minute walk to a great beach. The house was enough room for a family of 5. It was clean upon arrival, however there was not a single bit of toilet paper in the house. After a long drive, that was an unpleasant find. The house is basic, older and needs a few updates and maintenance. The beds were comfortable, but the couch was not. We felt the only real value to this property is its location.”

”Tropical storm cost us one night on property, forgot our linens and the landlord was super kind to advise us of the secret stand by linens inside which saved us from shopping the variety store our only day on the island. The house is charming. The porch particularly so. There are neighbors only on two sides so feels super private. Very short walk to Silver Lake. Would definitely repeat.”

”Basic little cottage, but met our needs. Good location, comfy bed. Only minor negative is having to clean the bathroom before leaving. I've never stayed in a cottage in Ocracoke (or anywhere) where I was expected to do more than sweep and take out the trash. We would stay there again.”
