Holiday Home 'Blockhaus Quellental' with Lake View, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

Welcome to our small log cabin!

The accommodation is part of our Quellental forestry estate and is located in the middle of a forest clearing, nestled in a picturesque pond area. Our forestry operation is located in the Riesewohld, a 700-hectare forest.

The cottage was completely renovated in 2019 without losing sight of its former charm. With approx. 26 square meters of living space, a double bed on the upper floor and a sofa bed on the ground floor, the accommodation is most suitable for two but also for three people. The small, modern fitted kitchen contains everything you need. A barbecue is of course also available.

The underfloor heating on the ground floor provides cozy warmth, even in the cold season or in bad weather. There is a TV with satellite reception and a USB radio. Wifi is of course available, the transfer rate is around 3.5 Mbit/s.

However, you should rather enjoy the view from the window or even better use one of the three terraces and follow the sun around the house. The west terrace is right next to a small pond where frogs and lots of insects can be found. You won't actually find any fish in our almost forty ponds. Since 2015, the pond has been part of a comprehensive species conservation project. However, apart from a frog concert in the evening, the grazing Soay sheep or the kingfishers and sea eagles that visit very frequently, you won't notice a thing.

Of course, there is a large bathing lake and a sauna, which are available to all residents in the Quellental.

The small sauna for two to three people is located approx. 30 m away, on the south side of the farm grounds.

There are around 35 ponds in total, the largest of which is ideal for swimming. There is a wooden jetty, a few surfboards that can be used as SUPs and a massive stone table (old millstone).
