”Hotel was centrally located near the Kanawa Bus Station/Hells Pools/food steam restaurant. 10min walk from the bus station. The hotel was clean & has an onsen! Tatami rooms w/a kitchen, tiny bathroom (ship size). It is an older hotel, but it was perfect for us. The young man running the hotel was so nice and pleasant. ”This was our first visit to beppu and first stay at this location. At first glance it looks older, but the staff met us halfway as we walked from the bus stop. This was the only hotel that did that and highlighted the start of a great stay with great service. They took us all the way to the front desk and provided us great service to the room. ”Excellent ryokan to stay and enjoy private onsen bath. The ryokan is super clean, neat and tidy. Dinner and breakfast meals were excellent and delicious. Staffs are super friendly. Onsen bath facilities are excellent, clean and very quiet. We had a great overnight stay here and will be back for sure in our next trip to Beppu. Highly recommended.”
