”I do not recommend this hotel. Cons: - Not a good value (I paid $120 a night) - No proper maintenance is done. For our room, the shower head was held by a wire, the circuit breaker tripped multiple times, including at night, the outer window was broken, and the wall was poorly patched... - The online lobby picture looks nothing like the actual sad lobby. Pros: - Clean - Easy parking, central to the hikes we wanted to do. For $20 more elsewhere, you can get a nice place with a view, with...

”The Grove Park Inn used to be a five star property. It’s a 3 at best today. We went to the GPI to celebrate my son’s birthday. Just to hit the high notes, the service from the staff was terrible. They obviously have very little training in hospitality. Absolutely no enthusiasm by the person in the Cafe, the Concierge, or the wait staff. Additionally, the Edison restaurant was a big disappointment. Our waiter rushed us through our dinner, even though there were very few guests in the restaurant....
