”Was an excellent stay. Motel units were really clean, super comfy beds and bathroom linen. It was a freezing cold night and the rooms were very warm and well insulated. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need for self catering. Staff very friendly and helpful. ”

”Our amazing stay in the Ashley Mackenzie villa was magical! The view of the glacier lake, the mountains, and Mount Cook were spectacular. Kaye and Luke were gracious hosts and Anna was a dream to work with. The villa was first class and very well appointed. We lacked for nothing! The chef prepared 5 star dinners that were delicious and delivered every evening. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and pampered stay.”

”This was our favorite stay in New Zealand. Comfortable house in the cute town of Twizel with lots of dining options, two grocery stores, amazing stars, and convenient to Mt Cook. The house is in a neighborhood so a bit tricky to find at night, but very comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a good set up for a family. My only suggestions would be to add lamps (why do New Zealanders hate bedside lamps??) and maybe a few DVDs (after a long day of hiking, would have been nice to watch a...

Only downside was they told us after making the reservation that there were no toiletries (e.g. shower wash & shampoo). Internet password was out of date but they were very responsive in providing updated info so not a big deal.”
