  • Orndorff-mökki sijaitsee yhdellä Laurel Highlandsin kauneimmista alueista! Vaellukselle ajomatkan huipulle ja unohtaa upeimmat näkymät Sugarloaf-vuorelle! Tämä hytti on vain kahden minuutin päässä Ohiopyle State Parkista, joka tarjoaa patikointia, pyöräilyä, kalliokiipeilyä, koskenlaskua ja melontaa. Rentoudu ja nauti vierailustasi tässä täysin kunnostetussa kahden makuuhuoneen ja yhden kylpyhytissä. Orndorff-mökki nukkuu 6 ja on täysin kalustettu. Hyttiä korostavat massiivipuiset lattiat, holvatut puiset katot ja valoisat huoneet. Orndorff-mökki on täydellinen niille, jotka rakastavat kodikkaan ja lämpimän loman tunnetta kaikilla kodin mukavuuksilla. Tämä yksikkö sisältää myös nopea Internet-yhteys WIFI: n kanssa koko talossa. Amazing but not doing VRBO again

Amazing property. Crazy… My family owned a cabin in Tahoe growing up. We had the same couches. Great owner. First and last time with VRBO because of the fees. Doubled the price of the stay and makes it almost not worth it.

Great property, we had a bat in the home and nobody bothered to fix the issue.

Called the first night to report about 2 bats in the home, we were told management would be in contact. Just a little upset nobody even called to try to help remove the bat or even check in. A bat and dogs do not mix very well, my poor dog went crazy when he was inside. We couldn’t even sleep in the one bedroom with the larger bed. All in all cute home-missing communication with owner or management.

Incredible Customer Service

We originally booked the Orndorff cabin and it was absolutely adorable! However, a couple nights into our stay, a bat found its way inside and woke us up in the middle of the night. Bats are lovely little animals and they’re important for the environment….but I didn’t really want to share a living space with one. I called the rental agency first thing the next morning and they had me packed up and moved to another property within the hour. The other property was way bigger and cost more than our original rental but they didn’t charge us extra or make us move back and forth once the bat was removed from the first place. Other than our bat friend, both properties were very clean and well maintained. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely book through OVR again.

Rustic Cabin

If you’re into rustic this is perfect. We loved it! A little drafty and limited privacy in the upstairs bedrooms as the walls do not go up to the ceiling. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Very large living room area. Perfect location for visiting the state park. We had trouble with the check in because the code was sent ONCE and as we were traveling I did not print it. We arrived there 7 pm and I could not for the life of me find the email. The property manager is not available after business hours. I remembered the numbers, but not the right order. My husband tried different number orders and we finally got in. The VRBO site was no help with this.

Sadly disappointed

We booked this house for our 20th wedding anniversary in hopes of a relaxing weekend together. The log cabin is beautiful. The beds are definitely not queen sized and are old, lumpy, and springy. One bed smelled as if someone dumped a bottle of perfume on it. And in that same bedroom was the smell of a dead animal. There was an animal(s) living in the upstairs that ran around all morning. It was hard to properly seal the shower so that water did not leak out. And, the floodlight from the adjacent house was turned on all night. This place has so much potential, but totally failed to deliver. We were disappointed that it wasn’t worth two terrible nights sleep to stay the entire weekend.

We didn’t stay in Orndorffs Cabin. Our venue was changed twice due to repair issues and a gas odor. We stayed at the Farmhouse at Fernstone. It was a nice home but had a few issues. Carpeting in the first floor bedroom is way past needing to be replaced. Curtain in the main bath would be appreciated. Had to check electric panel because hot water heater didn’t seem to be heating. Electric panel is dangerous and would not pass code, fire hazard. It has the potential to be a really great place.

Great easy location and quaint cabin

Cabin was exactly as we had expected and hoped. Smaller sized, great history to it and very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Do agree with comments that the mattresses could use replacing as they sag to the middle but it was only a few nights and it was just fine.

We new the cabin was rustic and could tell by the photos the 80"s style furniture was there. What we did not expect was the amount of dead bugs littering the window sills, kitchen sink and bathroom floor. Nor did we expect to see the mold in the shower stall or the live yellow jackets that were flying around. The kitchen table and one of the window sills had bird droppings on them.

Beautiful Cabin and great location!

Beautiful Cabin and great location! We had a great time. Cabin is super close to 2nd cabin on property but it wasn't an issue for us. The only issue was the bed. The bed in the first bedroom is broken. You sink to the middle of the bed and with 2 people it killed our backs HORRIBLY!- get a new mattress in that room! I had to take another day off work to recover! Other than that it was a great Cabin!

It didn’t really bother us that much. Aside from that, the cabin is so cozy and time flew when we just sat and did nothing. Will definitely be returning! The cabin was also stocked and clean. And the WiFi worked very well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I was disappointed that the cabin was right next to the road so you had a lot of traffic noise. It’s also close to another cabin as well, so you aren’t secluded. However the cabin was very clean, had a nice layout, and was a great base to explore the area from. If you are traveling midweek during covid make sure and bring food as all the restaurants except for pizza were closed.

Reviewer Comments: Rustic, somewhat dimly lit cabin close to Frank Lloyd Wright homes and Ohiopyle resort town. It def has the feeling of a cabin. Minimal privacy upstairs and small bathroom. One bed was comfortable and one not. Luckily, I was in the comfortable bed!House was on a main road but mid week noise was not an issue. We did request early check in on the application but the cabin had not been cleaned yet when we got there That was mildly annoying as we wanted a nap, but they did send the cleaning crew quickly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved it we'll be back. The water stopped working and they found out the well had a broken part and they brought us in a huge potable water and quickly too it was great service.

Beautiful rustic cabin

We loved the wonderful rustic cabin. It was very well equipped. The kitchen and grounds are lovely and the property is just up the road from the town. The view from the porch is so serene and looks out to a field with a sunset. The only negative would be that there is a house right next door so it may be less quiet if there are people. The cabin is also right near the road so weekends could get loud if it is a bust season or a weekend. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you!

Well located but needs major updates

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well located but aged property that needs more upkeep and new furniture. Window AC units were moldy, and the house leaks with major rain. Very few windows to open to let in fresh air, so a musty odor lingers in the air unless you run the AC full blast. Furniture is old and not very comfortable.

Good place but barebones

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is nice for a weekend trip, with a fire pit, and a bit more updated than the neighboring Schaefer House. In other words, this is a better place for young kids than the Schaefer House. However, it is pretty barebones - only 1 roll of TP was provided, and no extra linens/blankets - you'd think that they would at least have enough TP for the amount of folks that the place can sleep. Also, the 2 sofas in the living room are not pull out couches, as far as I could tell, so it seems misleading to call them "sleeper sofas".

The cabin was clean, and sunny (lots of windows in the kitchen), with everything needed to have a great time! Location was great as well, just a few miles from hiking trails and other outdoor activities.
