”Motel was new. Room was very clean and was stylish. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with kettle, microwave, mugs, crockery and cutlery. Parking adjacent to the room. A short walk to restaurants and the centre of Whakatane. Wifi fast. I didn't try the TV which had lots of channels. A table to work from. Aircon. Bed large and comfortable. Everything was there. Excellent. ”

Possibility to use a laundry machine was a nice bonus for travelers who had been on road for a week. We asked to cancel our second night as we could not go to the volcano island due to weather conditions.
