”Love the house! Will definitely try to book again if we're in the area. House was super clean and definitely plenty of parking area if hauling trailers. Listing says two bathrooms, so I figured one would be a half bath. Both bathrooms were full size, which was really convenient.”

”My in-laws an my husband were camping in Old Forge for years and this time we got back with our kids to show them Adirondack mountains. Everything was great! The property is big, clean and ready to accept renters. Large fire pit was the place for our evenings with kids and grandparents. The balcony was our place for breakfasts and dinners. Very homie atmosphere. Close proximity to Old Forge. Loved it and will be back for sure!”

”Four generations of my family came to Old Forge for a weekend in September. Two groups camped at the Old Forge Camping resort and two stayed at the Thendara House. Everything was as described. We had a great front porch to sit on and there was a fire pit in the back yard. Our host was fantastic! She was always available to answer any questions that we had. The locations was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this house!”

”Beautiful home, great location within easy walking distance to the town center. Inlet is a great little town with excellent food and drinks in addition to the water and hiking trails. Hosts are fabulous people, I can't recommend them highly enough. We look forward to returning in the future. ”

”We are a group of artists painting together in the Adirondacks for a week. It was the perfect size and price for us. The front porch was fantastic with its swing and lots of seating, up on a hill set back from the lake with a large house between the two. There is a walk through the woods to a dock that we swam from. The living room is the size of a tiny bedroom, it was disappointing but looking back at the photos it’s as they showed. ”Derricks property is very clean and well stocked with everything that you could possibly need. The home made bread that he made for us was delicious and the house was beautifully decorated. Would stay here again. ”

”We had a great time and enjoyed all the amenities of the property. We came up north to ride our side by sides on the various trails. The property connects so close to the trail and there is plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. The house is located perfectly out a long secluded driveway with a hot tub, pool, basketball court, and fireplace. We enjoyed our time and the owners were extremely responsive. ”
