”We chose this place based purely on its location and hoped for the best. It didn’t wow us, but it didn’t disappoint. My biggest issue is that there was no one in the office for check in, our key was in an envelope with our names on it taped to the office door with a page of instructions, and we had to call the number on the instruction sheet to find out about things like the wifi only to be told that it was in “the notebook”. ”Nice spot by the creek. The view from the balcony was great and peaceful. The one complaint is the walls are really thin, so you can hear everything. If you have kids, they may have a hard time sleeping at first until the tvs go off. Other than that, really nice stay!”

”You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot!”

”The property is so nice. It is dated, but comfortable, clean, and well stocked with towels and kitchen items. They even had a couple of small boxes of laundry detergent which was nice. There is a deck that overlooks the golf course to enjoy over morning coffee. The amenities were lovely - putt-putt golf, swimming, and playgrounds for the kids. We loved it! The entire staff was helpful and friendly.”
