Attractive 1 bedroom cabin only 50 ft from beach

Just a few feet from Maine's finest beach that offers over 7 miles of mostly flat sand to walk along and mostly calm waves. This charming Old Orchard Beach Cottage Suite has everything you need to enjoy a restful and relaxing stay.
The location makes it so easy to run back and forth from the cottages to the shore - grab a drink, use the bathroom or have lunch in the shade using our outdoor barbecue grills and sitting at our own outdoor tables and chairs.

This winter, 2024/2025 we renovated our cottages. They look like brand new cottages. Many of the furnishings inside are brand new, as of March 2025. Brand new queen size beds, new couches, tables & chairs, along with fresh paint both inside and out. Our cottages are no longer white with pink trim. They are now white with an ocean blue trim. We hope you will like our new look!

The living room has a comfortable couch, coffee table and a flat screen, Smart TV where you can enjoy logging in to your streaming network channels like Netflix, Prime & Hulu.
The open kitchen area has a stove top, a medium size refrigerator & freezer, and all the necessary kitchenware like pots & pans, dishware, glassware, toaster, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (individual k-cups) and more...

We provide all the necessary linens, bed sheets, duvets, pillows, pillow cases, bath towels & beach towels for up to 4 people.

This spacious, charming cottage features one bedroom with a brand new queen bed and new mattress (March 2025). The living room has a pull-out futon couch, ideal to sleep 2 children. The bathroom offers dual sinks, shower and whirlpool tub.

New, outdoor furniture, tables & chairs and sun umbrellas for our guests to enjoy spending more time in our peaceful, courtyard.


Off-street parking. Cottage 6 has an assigned parking space on Reggio Ave, it faces cottage no. 7, which is the other side of our cottages, as our cottages are located between Odessa Ave & Reggio Ave. If you are traveling with two vehicles, you may park on the street, either on Odessa Ave or Reggio Ave. Parking is free.

Once I make my reservation when will I receive check-in information?
We email you check-in information the morning of your arrival, this includes providing you with the code to enter the property, wifi user name & password as well as other, general information.

Can I bring a pet with me?
Being dog owners ourselves, we understand how attached people are with their pets. There is a pet surcharge of $50 per night.

Is my cottage attached to any other cottages?
This cottage shares only one common wall with cottage 5. This is the kitchenette & dining area wall.

Can I request an early check-in, and, or a late check-out?
Yes, you may. The earlier you request this, the more likely we may be able to accomodate you.

I have an EV vehicle, am I able to plug it into one of the outlets?
No. Our electrical outlets are not built to handle this type of electricity.

What is the weather like in Old Orchard Beach, Maine in May, June, July, August & September, October?

Typical temperatures are as follows:
May: mid 70's
June: mid to high 70's
July: mid 80's
August: low to mid 80's
September: mid to high 70's
October: mid to high 60's

Is it too cold to enter the sea in the summertime?

Absolutely not! beach goers are in the ocean throughout the summer. In mid July 2021 the ocean temperature reached 74 degrees!

Can I walk into town from this property?

Yes, of course. The downtown area of Old Orchard Beach is only 2/3 mile. One can easily walk along the beach to the pier and up the main street. Or one can walk along West Grand Ave. It too is a nice walk with safe sidewalks on either side of the street.

Do you rent in the off-season? fall, winter and early Spring time?

Yes. We rent our property year-round. Popular off-season dates include Columbus day weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years' Eve, Valentine's day, Easter, Memorial Day weekend.

I am trying to book for next summer but I cannot locate any available dates why is this?

We have opened our calendar to accept new bookings for the summer of 2025 as well as 2026. We accept both short and long term reservations. If the dates that you are looking for are unavailable do look further on our website as we have a total of 8 cottages, two of which, are two-bedroom cottages, while 6 of the cottages are one-bedroom. Just 1 block from our cottages are 8, two-bedroom condos, and 1, four-bedroom condo. We also have 5 & 6 bedroom beach houses, suitable for large families & groups. See listings below.

Can we reserve a cottage for just 2 or 3 nights instead of having to book an entire week?

Yes, in the summer we have a 2-night minimum stay for our cottages & condos. Occasionally, a 1-night stay may become available. In the summer the beach houses have a 7-night minimum reservation requirement. In the fall, winter & spring one may book a cottage or condo for 1 night only.

Other than the beach what do you recommend we do with our children?
Fun Town USA - theme park
Splash Town USA - water park (they are attached to each other. The park is located in Saco, the town next door.
Aquaboggan theme park. More suitable for younger children. Also located in Saco.
Palace Playland - you can walk to. It is a fun theme park with amusements. It is located in front of the pier. A very pleasant 15 minute walk!
Pirates Cove - mini golf. This place is a fun favorite for my family. It is an easy 10 minute walk, it is open in the day & at night.
The Memorial Park has basketball & tennis courts and a fun playground for your younger children.

Cape Elizabeth light house with its' Shale Beach is something we highly recommend visiting. It is an amazing site, you can sit outside on the picnic tables and eat lunch whilst admiring the beautiful ocean views. It is approximately, a 25-30 minute drive.
Downtown Portland has so many amazing restaurants to explore. Great shopping in the Old Port & Wharf. A great outdoor activity to do, especially on an overcast day!
How far is the Old Orchard Beach train station from your property?

It is approximately 0.5 mile, or a very comfortable, 10 minute walk. We invite guests traveling from Boston who want to get away for 2 or 3 nights to travel by train. It is a great / fun alternative travel option.

If there are any issues on the property, who do I contact and how quickly are you able to resolve these issues?
All guests are given my personal cell phone. Should there be any major problem inside the house I ask guests to contact me right away. I will be sure to address any issue as expeditiously as possible.
