”The Grains bar hotel was selected over others primarily for its location which had several teenage memories. We were visiting family in Smallbridge, Rochdale ... 4miles away, so very convenient. Excellent greeting and first impressions. Ample seating areas, small bar area next to reception, large brekki, dining room but lacked atmosphere. Other rooms (not viewed incl Wedding venue) available. Good meals and menu. Rag pudding...well!
Yes, the parking is a tad awkward, ie circa 20 spaces...

”No air conditioning in the rooms even if advertised in Trivago and such. A window is not an air conditioning! Thru day there should be a tsble fan in every room but no, when :fully booked" no spare to give.
Nice staff but you get what you pay, not much and false promises to go with it.”

”We have no complaints on our stay, we only wished that it would’ve been for longer. Our room was extremely comfortable, breakfast was the best!
We will be back to explore the area and will definitely try and stay here again”

”Parking no problem and got a lovely warm welcome!
Have stayed here on three different occasions and always had the best welcome and warmest hospitality!
Room was comfortable and very clean , food was lovely and would highly recommend the Scotsman Pack to anyone.
Will be definitely be returning at some time later this year!

”Great place to stay with a warm welcome. Rob and Jan are very friendly hosts, made us feel at home. A short walk into Todmorden and had a lovely day. Had a great sleep in a very comfy bed. All topped off by a lovely breakfast the morning after. Couldn't have asked for more. Hope to be back in the future. Thanks Toothless Mog for a lovely stay! 👍👍👍
