Majatalot – Ollantaytambo

”If you are travelling to Ollantaytambo, you have to stay at The Quechua Lodge. The property is so pretty, the location is wonderful, and it is incredibly relaxing and Zen. It has a cozy, small community feel where you immediately feel at home. Edith and her husband Stijn were absolutely amazing. What really set them apart was how they cared for me when I got sick during my stay. They actually went to the pharmacy themselves to get me medicine and made sure I was looked after until I recovered....

”Great place to stay away from the crowds but walkable to main area and attractions. Hot showers, comfy bed and clean place. Cats on the premises which I loved and the ladies were super sweet. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

”The location is very close to the fortress (views from the hotel room) and the plaza. The hotel is family managed and has a cute vibe. Breakfast options are good. One small downside is the bathroom - the flush is not strong enough and a few hangers would have helped.”

”In this hotel our room was big enough, we had plenty of hot water, the room was very clean and the service exelent. There is also central heating that you can use in the case the weather is cold. At the reception they even speak english. The only that didn’t work perfectly was the service at breakfast. Breakfast itself was very good for my point of you, but you had to ask for cups, forks, knives etc, those were not allways available.”

”Unfassbar coole Erfahrung! Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen dieses einmalige Erlebnis zu genießen. Unser Guide war sehr hilfsbereit, das Abendessen wurde auf Wunsch sogar in Kapsel gebracht und der Whirlpool in der Kapsel waren super. Es gibt viele Decken für die kalte Nacht. Das Abendessen war „nur“ ok und die Fenster müssten für eine klarere Sicht häufiger geputzt werden. Insgesamt aber trotzdem ein Highlight!”

”The staff was super accommodating, helpful, and assisted with all transportation. They also held our luggage during our trip to Machu Picchu. Rooms were basic but clean and was extremely happy with the hotel”
