Welcome home!

You'll enjoy this private 5-bedroom 6-bed house with two living rooms, two bathrooms, two 55" smart TVs, three couches, and a private garage, as well as a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals.

It's very close to downtown Omaha, yet this place has its own sanctuary/practical safari due to its close proximity to the Missouri River and park.

Of note, there is a doorbell camera in front of the house; no cameras inside the house.

The location is good, the property is ok as thw board games was missing pieces, the shower did drain properly, the was candy and plastic silverware found in couch as well so it felt like the property wasn't thoroughly cleaned from previous guests. The bed mattresses are thin and caused me to have back pains at the beginning of our trip which ruined the whole vacation as i was unable to do anything we had planned for the last 4 days of our stay. Had to go to emergency hospital for medications and basically lay on the floor until we left. One of the rooms have a portion of those strip lights left on the wall as well. I felt like I overpaid as we only had 4 guests for 2 days the rest was 3 but oh well I'm left with a jacked up back and a trip that was not maximized as we drove 20 hours to this place to visit our daughter in college and will be returning again in July needless to say we won't be staying here again.

Overall the house is a clean house but..it is in way worse shape than it looks like on the listing. The beds upstairs are fine, a couple basement beds are a bit rough. The carpet is in desperate need of being replaced and my 1 year old kept tripping over the carpet ripples. There are no extra blankets upstairs and the ones on the beds are so so thin (if there were extras we couldnt find them) - it was definitely a chilly night. Also-the host left a half empty jug of chocolate milk in the fridge- probably just missed it. The houses was a good size and definitely fit us all nicely. Of vrbos we have stayed at it is the only one that didnt have extras that might be needed in the bathroom (face wipes, qtips, tampons, hygiene items) and snacks offered in the kitchen. Definitely not needed but always helps you feel like your money is well spent when it seems like the vrbo owners put love into their property. For the cost, we would not stay at this vrbo again, but it worked fine for just a quick night.

Property was as described. We had 8 adults and 3 children. Squeezing everyone in the dining room for dinner was a little tricky; but we made it work; and having an extra folding table in the closet was great. Otherwise we at breakfast in shifts with only 6 chairs around the table; or 3 on barstools in the kitchen. There was also a nice table and chairs area off the dining room outdoors, but it was too chilly when we were there to take advantage of that option. We parked one car in the garage and two in the driveway; but there was also room to park on the street. We loved having room to spread out; as well as having the space in the living room and dining area for all of us to visit. With three bedrooms downstairs, it was easy for one family to break away for bedtime routines with the children without extra distractions. Plenty of plates, cups and silverware. The only things missing were steak knives. Otherwise, the property was well stocked and the ice maker/water in the door of the refrigerator worked great.We didn't get the code to the house until the morning when we were scheduled to arrive, and that made me a little nervous. We certainly didn't want to drive three hours and not be able to get in. The three separate families that stayed all agreed that this was a great choice and it met our needs. Half of our group went to the zoo and the others went golfing. After we checked out, we spent a couple hours at top golf. Great proximity to both.

Weekend getaway with family

The house was so beautiful and nice. Everyone had their own room and beds. Close to some of our favorite stores to shop and restaurants. The pedestrian bridge was amazing. The zoo was excellent. And the fun plex waterpark was great.
