”Stunning location. Beautiful gardens and ‘secret’ pathways. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and powerful shower! Beautiful lounge and dining area and well set up with pool table. Would be great for a group but also relaxing for a couple. Wonderful stay.”

”We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful scenery and listen to the sounds of the surf and birds. Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. Cannot recommend this place enough - would still be there if we could ☺️”

”Absolutely fabulous hotel, more than worth it's price! Stylish with art everywhere, nice breakfast. Room was well equipped, clean and spacious. As the bathroom was too. Large and comfortable beds. Highly recommendable!”

”This place was lovely! Would stay here again. We had the deluxe king suite on the 3rd floor. It was nice, nothing special. But the heated pool was lovely and so was the spa. The staff were super friendly and helpful too”

”While everything about the hotel experience was great, nothing stood out more than the owners Grant and Trudy Smith. Grant is one of those people who makes you feel like you've been friends for years even though you only met a few minutes ago. Trudy was just as personable. Whether it be getting restaurant recommendations or borrowing bikes to ride on the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway, they were always ready to be helpful.”

”This is a modern hotel, within 10 minutes walk of the center. Everything was as detailed in their own description. We were delighted to have been able to borrow their mountain style bikes to ride along the coastline cycle path.”

”Friendly staff. It was an older, single glazed studio room. Clean and fresh, plenty of space, clean linen daily with a bed change midway of our stay. The shower floor was tiled with no slipping, ideal for older people. There was no clock in living area. Only a microwave and 2 hobs in kitchen, no oven for heating. Kitchen had all the necessary pans, bowls, dinnerware and cutlery. Good parking. Unfortunately motel situated on one of the busiest intersections in New Plymouth so there was continual...
