”Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. ”This treehouse was just what we needed. Even though it is compact, it has everything you could possibly need. Close to a lake where you can kayak, canoe or pedal boat. You can also ride horses, all for a nominal fee. There is also a private hot tub and fire ring. It is peaceful and serene.”

”Not quite what I expected, but the property was off the beaten path, quiet, and clean! The owners were very nice and accommodating. The "Guesthouse" is exactly that. Small, not much bigger than a nice motorhome, and just enough room for a couple with or without a small child. It suited me just fine as I was traveling solo and didn't need much room. ”We celebrated our 4oth wedding anniversary with a magical stay at The River Place with our four sons, their wives and our eight grandchildren. This amazing place could not have been more perfect for our group. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep, eat, and play. We loved hanging out at the river during the day and by the fire pit at night. It was the most relaxing family gathering we have ever had! I cannot say enough good things about The River Place!”

”Spring Lake was the perfect weekend getaway for my husband and I! The cabin was very clean, up to date, with gorgeous views of the lake. There is a winery very close by that we visited twice during our stay. Town is a quick 10 minute drive away. Overall it was a wonderful weekend. We will definitely be back!”
