Amazing Spring Break Stay at Turquoise Place!

Our family had a fantastic spring break getaway at Turquoise Place in Orange Beach, and we’re already talking about coming back to this exact unit next year! The resort itself is incredible — the amenities are top-notch, and there’s so much to enjoy on-site.Our kids especially loved the indoor pool, which was perfect since the outdoor pools were still a bit chilly in early April. And the beach access couldn’t have been easier — just a quick walk and you’re right on the sand. It made beach time with little ones a breeze.The unit was spacious and comfortable for our family, and although it could use a bit of maintenance here and there, nothing at all interfered with our stay. Everything we needed was there, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to any families looking for a fun, relaxing beach vacation!

The condo was not clean and had the minimal requirement for necessities provided. We were not told in advance that some amenities were closed (e.g., lazy river). Staying on the 4th floor made all the difference! Highly recommend the 4th floor.

Very nice but a few cosmetic issues

Beautiful condo but we paid alot of money for the tub in the master bath to have the tile removed from one whole side. Let the property manager know and they said they would get back with us but never did. Also there was not one towel hanger in any of the bathrooms. Other than this we had a great stay.

Be forewarned! Years worth of dust on ceiling fans. The baseboards have been pulled off the walls in many places with nails sticking out of the walls where the baseboards once were. Half the cabinets were peeling laminate and/or broken. The furniture was all cheap, uncomfortable, and most of it was broken in places.The showers all had YEARS worth of mold and mildew. The balcony hot tub water was green and Vacasa wouldn’t approve a “drain and refill” with the building maintenance crew even though they recommended it twice. This is a very nice, high end resort that we paid top dollar for. The resort is very nice. But I will NEVER stay in this unit or any other managed by Vacasa. The Vacasa people refused to call me back for days and, after all of this (I had to send them pictures of everything multiple times), their only answer was to refund my cleaning fee plus a little bit extra. Completely unacceptable given how much we paid! This unit should never have been rented in the first place, much less at the rate they charged. Worst. Experience. Ever with a VRBO property. VRBO should really consider pulling all Vacasa managed properties. That’s how bad it was!

Here’s a challenge for the owners

The owners need to stay there for a week to determine they have what they need. There was only one small pan , now there is four as we had to go buy pans which we left We also had to h buy fora now there are 16 new forks we also had to go buy mixing bowls with lids which we left, we bought a wine opener, ,kitchen scissors and several other items which we left as well The master bed mattress sinks down to the springs it is fine for a new one And the beds on the two beds bedroom also needs to be replaced We were surprised that after spending over 9k the condos kitchen would not have been so sparse or the beds would have been more comfortable. We enjoyed going on the 4th week we will be back on the fourth but not in that condo

Romantic Getaway

It was very easy to get to and a great location. I loved spending time with my husband in a spacious, beautiful condo. The only downfall was the smaller tv in the master bedroom 😂

Beautiful Property but needs TLC

This is a beautiful property that could be amazing with a little TLC. Condo is clean and if you were just looking on the surface it appears perfect. However, it needs some owner attention. The jetted tub in the master has a foil sign on the faucet that says NO - with no explanation. I called the property manager and they notified me it was broken and they would credit me 185.00 for the stay. Actually, I would have appreciated a notification prior to arrival giving me the option to book another unit. I wasn't looking for a discount, I was wanting to have a jetted tub. Next, there are old pictures of items that should be in the kitchen cupboards that are missing, simple things like a cutting board. The property manager did deliver a cutting board after the second call. The home has room for 8 occupants comfortably, however, the hot water heater on our visit would only provide enough hot water for 2 showers and then we had cold water. I notified the property manager and never heard back. Luckily, we were a party of 4, so we would stagger showers over the week we were there. We looked at the hot water heater itself and realized it was manufactured in 2006, so perhaps it's time for a replacement. The master shower grout is peeling and stained. A chair in the living room has a broken swivel and not functioning. The food warmer under the oven does not work and the LCD display says Err. Small cosmetic items like broken curtains in the living room, a torn comforter in the master and peeling paint below the heating vents is just not acceptable when you are paying the rate this unit charges. When I asked the property manager if anyone actually checks for or performs and type of quality control on this unit, she advised me the cleaners did. I would not rent this unit again and will be very cautious in the future with this company. Which is sad as this is a beautiful property with so much potential.

I loved the property, but the unit needs work

Loved the property. The unit needs work. Cooktop needs knobs repaired or worked on. Very difficult to turn burners on. The unit needs more lighting in the living room and over the dining room table.

Needs Attention

This unit had some great things about it but it needs attention. It’s very close to the elevator and the rooms are large however we had to call for maintenance about light bulbs missing and being out in at least 8 locations when we arrived. The dishwasher never worked properly and before the week was up, it quit working completely. When we arrived, the lights on the balcony, the wine cooler, and the temperature gauge on the grill were not working. I would want to know that these things had been repaired or replaced before staying in this unit.
