”We arrived to the upper carriage house, where a nasty nauseous rotten meat smell filled the room. This was quite unexpected and unsettling. We could not use the refrigerator, as it smelled of rotten meat. We asked for a refund and were denied. We were not offered a partial refund. We were offered a complimentary night stay. However, we were told the offer only lasted a week. Due to our home location, this was not realistic. We were excited to stay at the Upper Carriage House, based on the...

”There was no hot water. We came down to Eugene for a concert and our plan was to get ready at the home before the show. To our dismay, we found out there was no hot water and were forced to use a teakettle for warm water. We were in a rush to get to the show so we didn’t get a chance to reach out to the host immediately but did contact them later. I never heard back about our concerns. We spent nearly $400 for a one night stay And we’re very disappointed at the overall appearance of the home...

”Stayed here multiple times thru the years and always received the same good hospitality! A very quaint spot!”

”Great place to stay and perfect location. We look forward to coming back!”

”Great communication, very friendly, and perfect for my needs! Thank you!”

Our only two downsides were that the sprinklers always seemed to be going off whenever we were outside on the patio and the gun club that is nearby starts shooting at 8am and that noise is constant. Otherwise a great homebase spot for doing tastings.”

”Absolutely loved the barn, as beautiful as the pictures. Really appreciated the cleanliness and how well stocked it was. Had a great time and lost all track of time. Communication with host was prompt, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. ”

”It talks about a private entrance but it isn't because there are multiple rooms in the basement of this property that get rented out. I had hoped to have a private getaway and instead i was greated with a shared entrance and steep shared parking on gravel. Also, when you walk into get into the door there isn't an indicator as to which key box your code is for. The "doors" to each room/space is just a sliding glass door. Extremely revealing as we could see into both our rooms and others...
