”We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. Never did get a chance to check out the hot tub or spend much time in the game room or around a fire but that was fine. Would certainly...

”The house was great alternative to a hotel because we have 2 miniature dachshunds and we enjoyed being able to be so close to downtown, take them into the yard, not worry about the occassional bark, etc. The house was neat, clean and the process was extremely easy. These old, historic houses are interesting because they are "old", but that adds to the charm. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this property and April to anyone visiting New Bern. We stayed during a very rainy period and it was great to be able to grill on the screened in porch without going all the way outside and pull into a garage using the garage remote.
