”Staff very attentive and helpufl”

”Historical property recently updated. Great location, so close to UC-Berkeley, BART and restaurants. Our only complaint was the trifecta of noise generators in our room - the wall A/C, an auxiliary A/C unit and the loudest small fridge we have ever encountered. But the shower was great, the bed was very comfortable.”

”This is a fairly new, smallish hotel. The room and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff, if I remember correctly, cleaned the room every other day, which was fine for us. The room with 2 queen beds is long and narrow, with a useful seating area at one end but not much storage, and a bit of a tight squeeze between the bed and the desk. Bathroom is nice and clean. ”I love staying at The Graduate, it’s the only hotel I stay in when I go visit my daughter, everything is close by. The hotel is pretty nice, I like hanging out at the dining lobby, the Henry’s hotel is also convenient and they gave the best brisket burger. The rooms are clean and staff are very nice.”

”The folks at Sens Hotel were so helpful and kind. I canceled one room on Expedia 48 hours before, but it didn't show up as canceled for Hotel Sens', or on Expedia for that matter. Sens canceled the room on their end, then Expedia showed the upcoming refund. The folks at Sens were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely go back. The hotel is right in the middle of North Berkeley's foodie row.”

”Clean room- no!!! The hardwood floor was so dirty our feet turned black and so did the towel outside the shower door! Mirrors hung had broken frames, and the room smelled like smoke! Staff- rude! Came knocking on our room door asking what’s going on as if we had done something wrong. Said that we were stomping and yelling, which is total false. She even threatened to call the police on us. Parking- minimal. But there was some! Air conditioning- not too powerful!”

”I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I was worried about the parking not being secure and the hotel being in a bad area, but we had no issues at all with our stay. Parking did cost $17, and they had a metal gate to make it "secure". We didn't leave any valuables in the car and didn't have any problems.
