Great option for families

This was a great place to stay with lots of room for the whole family. Loved having our own private pool to use as well as the added resort pools.

Awesome stay

Check in and out process smooth. Awesome location for theme parks.Communication was excellent. Did not put 5 stars for cleanliness because I like it when it actually smells like clean and it didnt. Providing some sanitizing wipes or all purpose cleaner would have been greatOverall everuthing was excellent, looking forward to visiting again.

Great Location

We really enjoyed our location and the house. Property manager was a quick response and resolved any situation we had. Just bring along more towels as we found there wasn't enough for 5 women. It was great to walk over to the pool area and spend the day at no cost. Lazy river was our favourite thing to do. It was close to walmart and a lot of other shopping so we found that very conveinient. We would go back there and stay again. I went with friends but a great area for families with kids. Overall a great stay

Lovely home and location

We had a lovely 2 and a half week stay in this property, storey lake has great facilities particularly for families with young children. The property itself is spacious and clean with all the amenities you’d need to be able to self cater. The hosting company were very efficient with communication and super helpful before, during and after our stay. The interior is a little older but perfectly fine and functional and is fairly reflected in the price in comparison to other properties in the storey lake resort. There’s plenty of outdoor furniture and the pool heating was amazing (although an additional charge) but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if we were to come back.

The home was very clean, warm, great for size of family that came. Wasn't able to get the TV in the living room to work. Also no pot holders when used the oven. Small things but could make big difference. Would definitely recommend and/or stay again. Thank you

What a MESS - Do not stay here!

The pictures of this property are very misleading. The main issue is that this townhouse is filthy. The living room rug is completely stained with dirt and has a huge green spot that looks like it has never been cleaned. The walls, carpet and shower are also filthy. The showers literally have black mold in them that could be easily cleaned with bleach. Vacationers beware - this property is GROSS!

This unit needs some attention/updates

The location to Disney and pool set up is very nice. Outside of that this particular unit wasn’t up to our standards of cleanliness. It could use a new paint job.. walls all scuffed up from luggage. Some lights weren’t working, the bedding has out lived its life.. and the carpet.. definitely time to replace. We were also disappointed with the towels.. there were a handful of bath towels but NO hand towels or dish towels.. We had to use the beach towels to dry dishes. Lacking some needed things.. like ovenmits.. had to use the beach towel to grab things out of the oven. We would definitely stay in this area again but would be sure to choose a different unit.

This property is need of improvement.There is mold inside and out.The walls and carpet are dirty.The garbage disposal doesn't work.The front porch light is out.One of the dressers is missing pulls.One remote doesn't function and the tv system is very complicated to use,no directions anywhere for it.The bathrooms lacked clean bathmats and washcloths,no soap in 2 of them.There wasn't an oven mitt in the kitchen or dish towels.I could go on and on.We were expecting a much nicer home for the price!

Overall good stay

We read the rental description and we were prepared with extra toilet paper and soap etc. we had plenty of room. There are no ceiling fans anywhere and it got warm at night when trying to sleep. Master bath shower wasn’t draining and I placed a call to management and was told someone would come out , this was not fixed. We had several roaches in the kitchen area. The out door pool was convenient but no lights at night. The light in the pool didn’t work and the solar lights around the pool need to be replaced. You can tell it’s a rental with marks on the wall etc.

Not what I expected

I had stayed at storey lakes before and always was satisfied but not with this property. walls are dirty, stove was cracked, found dishes in the dish washer, curtain shown in the picture was gone and so one of the hooks. The chairs shown in the dining table are not the ones, cheap patio chairs are part of the dining table. The wall in the patio was super dirty full of algae and pool chairs were super dirty, the umbrella was broken and wouldn't open up. The worst is that I made the property management aware of all these and provide pictures yet never received even an acknowledgement of my email

Disappointed in cleanliness

Beautiful location, loved the condo just was not clean. Kitchen baseboard nasty behind trash can and when we removed liner can it was full of gunk, bed linen was not clean, pillows smell and bathroom floor had long brown hairs on the floor. Main bathroom tub would not drain. Call and email several times and was tolded that someone would contact me. Got no response from maintenance. I took lots of pictures.This was a special time for the family. My granddaughter competition dance team was invited to dance at Disneyland. Lovely place to stay with a private pool and will likely stay again. Maybe owner need to invest in another cleaning company. Why pay a cleaning fee if it not cleaned properly for the next guess.

Neglected Unit

We stayed at this unit over spring break. I usually don’t write reviews but my hope is that in doing so I can save others from the same level of disappointment. The best word I can come up with to describe this unit is “neglected”. I wonder if that owners truly realize it’s condition. It’s a shame because it’s beautifully decorated and the resort itself was pleasant. The walls are pretty disgusting. The first thing you see when you walk in the door are scuffs and stains all over the walls. There were stains on the rug and sofa as well (we laid blankets on the sofa because it looked dirty.) The base trim is all white which makes it even easier to see all of the dirt and grime that isn’t cleaned up well. There was black hair all over the main level bathroom floor upon arrival as well. The garbage disposal was clogged in the kitchen and when I first ran water in the sink food from the previous visitors came floating up. We enjoyed the private pool and it was heated as requested. Again, the patio looked neglected and dirty. We swam at night and maybe three of the multiple solar lights they have out there actually work. Overall I felt the unit itself has a lot of potential but just hasn’t been cared for. I read a few reviews like this prior to our stay but decided to still give it a shot based on others. I should have listened to those honest reviews. We would consider staying at this resort again but definitely not this dirty, neglected unit. I add that travel quite a bit and stay in high traffic family areas. We definitely don’t expect perfection and understand that some areas are really busy and host a lot of children, but this was probably the most neglected unit we’ve ever visited.

Nice stay

The pool was nice for the kids. We had family of 6 4 adults 2 kids. There was enough room for everyone. The kitchen was equip with all we needed. We had to call the maintenance because the pool screen was torn. Even though Universal was only 14 miles away, this location is 30 minute drive from Universal. There was no face towels. We had to purchase our own and no extras such as tissue. We purchased our own. Otherwise it was nice stay.

Amazing

Our recently stay was great. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We were a little hesistant based one the reviews we read but I am happy to say that the owners of this property take what is written in the reviews and make the necessary updates to the property. The chairs to the table were updated and looked new, the couches were updated. We did not see a flaw that is worth pointing out or that affected our stay. The pool was the perfect size for us and we are a family of five. Yes there is marks on the walls but you will have that when you have guests staying in and out. We were very impressed with this property and would stay here again.

No sense of urgency

The cleanliness of this property was average at best. All communication was handled via text. The washing machine has standing water in it and didn't work, therefore, we were unable to wash the stained towels that were provided. The house smelled like mildew due to the standing water. When I requested clean towels, we were told that we had to wait until the next day. The towels were not delivered until 3:30 pm. I buy new towels and go to a family members house 30 minutes away to wash. Unacceptable!!!

We rented this property for a week Monday-Friday. The overall home was nice but the experience was a little exhausting. The walls walking in the home could have used some painting (a little dirty), the area rug has stains on it as well as the sofa, downstairs toilet wasn't flushing properly, the garbage disposal was not working (repair man did come fix the problem the same day). We ran low on towels however being we had a washing machine that was not going to be a problem, so we thought, however the washing machine wasn't working and the repair man knew so therefor the property manager knew it as well but failed to mention it to us. We had clothes soaking in water for a whole day before we were informed by the repair man that it didn't work and that they were waiting on a new one to come (Kind of happy we didn't utilize the pool). I don't think the unit should have been rented out for this reason. It was such an inconvenience to us especially because we had others with us with disabilities where we needed the washing machine. We had to hand ring out their clothes and put them in the dryer. The nigh before check out while going over the rooms to assure everything was packed, we came across someone retainer that was left behind.
