    This home sits right next to a wetland preserve, making wildlife viewing a spectacular sight from the balcony! Skakket Beach, known for its breathtaking sunsets, is just under two miles away, while an oceanside beach, Nauset Beach, is only three miles away in the other direction. Plus, downtown Orleans is a short drive away if you want to spend a day meandering along Main Street looking through shops and trying some local cuisine. Be sure to take the scenic drive to Provincetown and check out the Race Point Lighthouse! If a getaway to Cape Cod is on the horizon, this inviting home is just the place to indulge in a bit of rest and relaxation while still being in the heart of everything this area has to offer! Newly renovated, this retreat is perched on a hill overlooking one and a half acres of trees and foliage, providing natural privacy from neighbors. The spacious second-story deck offers a wonderful place to have a cookout in warmer weather and cap long days of adventure. If you feel like having some downtime indoors, the chef of the group can whip up a warm meal in the full kitchen as the other guests read in the cozy living area or break out a few board games for a night of friendly competition! THINGS TO KNOW The hot tub is not for guest use.

The inside of the house was clean and well kept, with a huge master bedroom and three other bedrooms between the upstairs and basement. The deck furniture was covered in some moss, so we weren’t able to sit out there, but there was a nice deck with a good view! If you don’t have a truck or SUV, be careful on the driveway. It’s a long dirt driveway with lots of holes. All in all the property was nice and worked perfectly for what we needed!

Nice big kitchen, secluded from the main road but very close to shopping. Big bonus was being right next to Eldredge Park, so we could walk over and watch Cape Cod Summer League games in the evenings. Lovely place to spend a family trip.

The stove/oven was broken. We specifically booked a VRBO to have a fully functioning kitchen, but we could not cook at home. The gas stovetop had 6 burners, 1 seemed to work correctly, but the apparent issue with the other 5 was enough for us to avoid the stove altogether. When igniting any of the other 5 burners, the starter would click on other burners, and gas would be released into the air. Front door mat was filthy. A terrible thing to walk in to. And there was a note asking me to take my shoes off. I thought it was a rude request seeing the state of that rug. The rest of the floors were clean enough, but if you looked in corners or under shelves, it was full of dust and cobwebs and spiders. Dust was everywhere. Kitchen well stocked with cutlery, dishes, pots/pans, serving utensils, etc, but everything very disorganized. Microwave missing turntable roller so heating was uneven. The "replace filter" notification lights came on fridge on day 2, so that is probably in desperate need of replacement.At least half of the blankets and towels had stains on them. Sheets didnt fit beds.Many remotes for the TV but no instructions. When I asked my host how to work the TV, they said they did not know the specific set up. It's a mgmt co, not person.An exposed nail on the floor. Rugs threadbare on edges. DVDs and games very messy. Several sink drains very slow/ not working. Dining chairs extremely rickety. Trash overflowing outside bins. Analog clocks need batteries.
