The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. We rented the owners fishing boat and it was very nice for checking out the the different islands and bays. ”This very clean and comfortable cabin is in a quiet, peaceful location. It had everything we needed and we had a wonderful week of vacation.There are several several fishing, boating and hiking options within a short drive. The International Wolf Center and North American Bear Centers are less than an hour away in Ely and there is another bear sanctuary a short drive from the cabin.We highly recommend it!”

”The host was very kind and the home was PERFECTLY clean! Great views as well. For the price, this was a very great home and my friends had an incredible ice fishing trip. Only a couple small recommendations. The unit can get very bright, and blinds would be nice for the bedrooms and sleeping areas. The road up to the home is very steep, so definitely recommend salting for guests. Additionally, the pathway to the dock is also very steep. Thankfully my friends are in good shape, but would...
