The Island had a good breeze, so the mosquitos were almost non-existent, and the trees are tall and plentiful for shade and a good resting place for a bald eagle one morning we were there. ”This is the 2nd time we rented Reggies Retreat and it is the perfect set up for our snowmobiling group. There is plenty of space to park trucks and trailers. The snowmobile trail is only a few blocks away and having access to the heated tuckunder garage for gear storage and getting geared up is priceless. ”This place was perfect for a quick stay before our trip in the Boundary Waters. My only issues were, it would be nice to know ahead of time that this place shares a bathroom with the whole house rather than being a private bathroom with the room. Some more info about checking in would also be nice ahead of time, we showed up to the place with no information on what door to go, where the room was etcetera.The folks running the Inn were super friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay there...
