Review for VRBOWe had a wonderful stay at Green Ridge Getaway. The setting is absolutely beautiful, with the farmhouse surrounded by orchards and rolling hills that make the whole property feel peaceful and tucked away. It was quiet, relaxing, and a lovely place to slow down for a bit.The house was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, and it was clear the hosts put real care into the experience. There were so many small touches that made it feel especially welcoming, including extra drinks and other amenities that added to the comfort of the stay. We also really enjoyed the fire pit, which was a great feature to have in such a calm and scenic setting.One of the most memorable parts of the weekend was simply taking in the view and the rhythm of the property. On Saturday morning, we got to watch saplings being planted in the lot next to us, which made the stay feel even more connected to the landscape and added to the charm of being there.One thing guests should know is that there was no cell coverage for us at the property, but there is Wi-Fi, so we were still able to stay connected when needed.Overall, this was a peaceful, well-kept, and genuinely welcoming place to stay. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful views in the Gettysburg area.

Excellent farm house! Great for families or a Couple. We went on Valentine’s Day 2026. Snow was laying on the ground with a hard crust but the roads were completely clear. It was so beautiful and quiet! Absolutely peaceful! Our hosts were very helpful! The GPS made it look like the house was in the middle of trees. I checked Google, Apple and Waze. It all showed the same thing. The host gave me very clear concise directions. It is so easy to find, you can see it right off the road.I am wondering why the GPS had so much trouble, lol?I have to say the couch is so comfortable. And there is a nice rocking recliner, several rocking chairs and a porch swing!The beds were great for firm sleepers like me. There are mattress pads for those who aren’t.Plenty of amenities, necessities and snacks. Lots of fun board games and outdoor games like Connect 4 & Corn hole and fire pit! So much to do and do nothing too, whatever you wish!I’d be delighted to come back again! Thank you so much for a great stay.

cute, clean, quiet nice house with a private note welcoming us that was really cool. Thank you for everything. I didn’t eat much of the free snacks but I did steal a juice and a sprite I couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay

The property was located fairly close to all shopping.and dining.Ski Liberty is only a few minutes away. It was very quiet. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking along with an outdoor gas grill, fire pit and outdoor dining area. We loved everything, but the beds.My only suggestion is better mattresses. We ended up buying mattress toppers for the beds because they were so hard.

The cabin was wonderful, quiet, clean and comfortable. It has everything you need and more. Our host Kathleen saw to each detail. Fresh apples from their farm, coffee, snacks and drinks also. Will like to return here sometime soon.

The house and accomodations were very pleasant and super clean. The bedrooms are upstairs with a fll bath and ac. The snacks and drinks provided added an extra touch throughout the stay. Definietly a thumbs up place to stay!!!

We had a fantastic, unforgettable stay! The house is situated in the countryside along a quiet road with a farm across the other side and circled by apple trees on the higher, adjacent hills. The hosts did a great job making sure everything is in order and all amenities are available, including coffee, tea, fruits and drinks in the refrigerator. The kitchen has plenty of light and windows making it possible to eat a quiet lunch while gazing at the foliage outside. The sleeping accommodations are upstairs and split between 3 small rooms. On the first night I had some difficulty sleeping on the larger mattress but slept fine on one of the smaller ones the next day. I cannot complain, especially taking into consideration the quiet and fresh air so hard to find in big cities! Bathrooms are updated and very clean. This gets high recommendations for anyone concerned about noise and cleanliness and wants to truly relax on their vacation.

What a beautiful home. The home and surrounding property was all very well kept. As with most older houses, this one had some creeks and moans, however, it was very homey and a great place to stay.

We had everything we needed. Beds were ok, a little firm but we all slept well. Plenty of blankets and towels. Could have used a sharp knife and a pair of scissors in the kitchen but we managed. Outside spaces were really nice. Available firewood, games and the grill were very much appreciated. Overall very nice.

This was a great place. In the country but very easy access to Gettysburg and surrounding area. Our hosts left snacks and drinks for our use. Every morning and evening we enjoyed either the front porch or back patio. There was even fire wood and kindling for the backyard firepit.Don't know if we'll return to Gettysburg but if we do, we would stay here again without hesitation.

My kids and I had the BEST time staying in this adorable farmhouse. We spent time outside on the porch swing and chair, the fire pit out back, and playing the games provided by the family. We didn't touch our electronic devices once! Our favorite part was eating breakfast every morning at the kitchen table and looking out the window at the scenery. The fruit and snacks provided by the family from their farm was the perfect touch. We will definitely be back here again, hopefully in the fall! WELL worth the price! It was the perfect distance for us to drive into downtown Gettysburg, which was the point of our stay.
