”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. ”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

Hotel has a historical feel with modern decor and amenities. The location was excellent as well. Close to Duomo. May go back to Orvieto just to stay here again (we only were in town one night this trip). ”

The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”
