”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

”This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”

”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. "The hotel itself was lovely and surrounded by beautiful nature. However we were little bit disappointed that the spa was not included in the price of a normal room and the only option was to pay hundreds of euros more. Otherwise breakfast was nice and coffee really good. "
