”We had to make a last minute change to this property from one we had in San Gimignano, and we are delighted that it worked out that way. The property is super relaxing and the staff made our stay memorable. The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”
