”This is the PERFECT place to stay! It was actually bigger than what we expected and had a washer. Our family had been traveling for a while and needed to do laundry. It’s a very central location with an excellent view! I thought we might hear noises from the cafe downstairs but I didn’t hear anything at all. There are stairs so be prepared to lug your suitcase up but that’s everywhere in Italy. The check in process was super easy and this was one of our favorite cities.”

She also provided some great local travel tips!Sure we had some minor issues which we communicated to Elena, she was super responsive as was Mr Fixit Giorgio who attended to some simple maintenance issues. Casa Carlo isn’t like your usual short term rental, we stayed two weeks and it felt like home ”

”The apartment was clean and accessible. The host provided clear instruction on how to find and access it upon arrival. The host arranged for someone to meet us and explain the facilities and propose local restaurants and interest. The apartment was listed as a 2 bedroom and this is clearly not the case. It is a 1 bedroom and there is a pull-out couch/bed in the open dining/sitting/kitchen area. This bed has no privacy. This is a significant innaccuracy”

”The location of the apartment was very good. Such an adorable town! The apartment is on the 3rd floor and getting our luggage up to the apartment was a challenge. The other challenge was the heat wave that was occurring. Two of the bedrooms have excellent air conditioning. One of the bedrooms has NO air conditioning and neither does the kitchen. Visiting during spring or fall would be my recommendation.”
