Norton-talo sijaitsee aivan järven rannalla henkeäsalpaavilla näkymillä Big Nianguan varrelle. Siinä on parkettilattiat ja hiljattain kunnostettu keittiö, jossa on graniittitasot, uudet taulutelevisiot ja ilmainen langaton internet. Siellä on 3 makuuhuonetta ja 3. 5 kylpyammeet sekä kaksi ylimääräistä kuningatar roll-out-sohvaa. Kaikissa 3 makuuhuoneissa on queen beds.

Nauti Sugarloaf Vineyards -piknik-alueista ja melonnasta, rentoudu terassilla ja katsele veneilyaktiviteetteja, grilli illallista tai syö ulkona, anna luonnon äänen sinut nukkumaan yöllä.

Keittiössä on hyvin jääkaappi, liesituuletin, mikroaaltouuni, astianpesukone ja sivupalkki suosikkijuomillesi. Nauti illallisia ruokailutilassa tai terassilla ulkona, jotta et menetä kauniista säästä ja villieläimistä! Tai lähellä on useita ravintoloita rentoista hienoihin ruokailuihin.
Vieraamme yksityisyyden vuoksi emme enää ole avoinna yleisölle tarjoamaan viiniä ja ruokaa. Olemme uudistaneet aiemman viininmaistajarakennuksemme ulkoklubitaloksi vuokra-vieraidemme käyttöön. Emme enää tarjoa ruokaa tai viiniä vuokrakotitalomme vieraille, mutta olet tervetullut tuomaan omia ruokia ja juomia kerhotaloon nauttimaan. Meillä on Sugarloaf-viinejämme ostettavissa, jos haluat.

Norton-talo sijaitsee Sugarloaf-viinitarhoilla Camdentonista länteen, missä Big Nianguan sivujoki muuttuu joesta Ozarks-järveksi. Sinut houkutellaan järvelle, jossa kalastus on uskomattomia monni, basso, crappie ja walleye. Tai pelata golfia kahdella kurssilla, Lake Valley Country Clubilla tai Old Kinderhookilla (Tom Weiskoph -kirjoituskurssi).

It was very clean and had plenty room. They had kayaks, life jackets, paddles, and place for fishing. Clubhouse for games and it came in handy for rainy days. I would recommend it and stay again!

The house was very clean. Easy to get to. Good communication with the owners regarding check in and out. Nice view of the lake. Plenty of outdoor seating. Kayake area could have used a good mowing and would have liked more then two kitchen towels. Minor items. We had a great vacation and loved that our family dog could join us.

We had a wonderful time at the Norton House!! We saw so much wildlife, we enjoyed taking the kayaks out and seeing the cave, we loved sitting out and relaxing on the back porch overhanging the lake and relaxing down by the water as well. My husband was happy as he got to finish 3 books while we were there, I got all my kayaking in, and our kids got to enjoy swimming and playing board games. The home is beautifully decorated in cabin style!! Barb and Ward were extremely responsive to any questions we had as well. We really look forward to and fully plan to come back here to stay again!!

Great property. Kitchen was good to prepare meals for our group of 7. We really enjoyed the "quieter" end of the lake. The kayaks and paddleboards were so fun for all of us. The dock was adequate for our 2 day boat rental. We loved the firepit and chairs by the lake too!

Excellent property with fully stocked kitchen and good fun with various games at the pavilion (a short uphill walk from Norton house). Good proximity to HaHa Tonka State Park and not too far from other restaurants & attractions.The property is located on hill coming down towards the lake. So the pavilion is at highest point, then another house midway down followed by Norton house, and then finally the kayaks & dock at lowest point at lake level (another walk from house). Launching kayak from ground level into water was more difficult... we found it easier using the dock, even if that means carrying the kayak to that point. Backside of Norton house has small balcony facing the lake, which would be more enjoyable as a larger deck with more capacity. Overall good experience for all family members young and old.

A couple of friends and I came down to do some turkey hunting in the area and decided to stay here. We were more than impressed at how beautiful the house was. Very spacious and well decorated. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the kitchen and dining room were also immaculate. The view was incredible and all of the amenities were great. The owners were friendly, accommodating and very responsive with every question or update. I highly recommend this location!

What a wonderful place for our family of five – two kids (ages 10 and 12) and our 3-month-old puppy! The property was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had every amenity we could have possibly needed – and then some. We had a blast using the kayaks, paddle boat, and fishing off the dock. The rec room was a great option for a fun, rainy evening. Plus, we were super close to grocery stores, restaurants, and a park when we ventured out for some outdoor fun. Highly recommend this gem for a family getaway!

First glance you see a cute, well maintained cabin. It just gets better. Plenty of room, great views and comfortable beds. Fire pits, picnic tables canoes/kayaks available. The Norton House offers some seclusion as well . We loved it and plan to return.

Met up with our adult kids for the weekend at the Norton House. Perfect place for things to do inside or out--March in Missouri! We had the best time hiking and using the clubhouse. What a wonderful little place!

Property and house were beautiful. The views were perfect. Everything we wanted and needed for a relaxing getaway. Proper managers were easy to reach and super helpful. This was our 2nd year staying on the property and will absolutely be back.

We were looking for a house on the lake with rooms (with bathrooms) for 3 couples. This house filled the bill with the added bonus of a fire pit where we ended up spending most of our time. Overall it was a great place to stay. The bedrooms were somewhat poorly lit, the living room needs a couple more comfortable chairs, and the south and east windows could use some blinds, but, other than that, the accommodations were pretty wonderful. We may be back.

This house was much better than stated in the VRBO website and pictures. The lake view from the deck is the greatest! The property furnishings inside and outside were very comfortable. The rocking chairs on the deck were great for comfort and enjoying the surroundings. Would definitely go back again and recommend it to friends. .

We celebrated my birthday on the lake Labor Dsy weekend. This is away from the hussle and bussle and is very peaceful even on a holiday weekend. The dock was great to float (water was shallow so a bit muddy). We floated on the raft, used the paddle boat, and kayaked to the cave. Perfect!!

We loved our stay! The property and view were just what we needed to unwind with plenty of activities on property and close by, so it was a great balance. Access to the water is on the property but not right out the back door- you’ll need to walk or drive a very short distance but it’s downhill due to the house sitting on a cliff, which allows the amazing view of the lake but just something to know ahead of time. It was fine for us but anyone with mobility issues should consider this. We were sad to leave, it was truly a beautiful get away.

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is very relaxing with lots of space to spread out and enoy the water and kayaking and family. We had 3 couples and a child and we all had our own space and enough room to cook and eat together. We enjoyed the firepit and hiking the hills. We would definately stay here again. The owners were very friendly and attentive. Thank you for sharing your treasure.
