”We stayed at The Heartland Inn in Park Rapids and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. They were wonderful with our dogs, which meant a lot to us and made traveling with pets easy. The breakfast was far better than expected—well stocked with lots of options, great coffee, and excellent donuts. The pool area was also a highlight—really impressive and very well maintained....

”I can't say enough about my stay here. I was here for a funeral and the staff was amazing, especially Shirley who was helping with the breakfast. She was so sweet and wonderful to me and my family. The whole staff are very nice and kind. I will definitely stay here again if and when I return to Minnesota.”

”The property itself was clean and perfectly acceptable. The walls were thin, and the neighbors, loud. The TV volume could not be adjusted, and so was too quiet to hear. Oddly, though, I could hear the neighbor's TV just fine! An ok spot for an overnight, located near a beautiful park and close to restaurants, shops, and convenience stores.”

”Breakfast could use work. But its ok. Different mini boxes of cereal and something different than biscuits and gravy and waffles. Other than that everything is alway nice and friendly and polite and respectful and rooms are clean. ”

”The front of property could use some sprucing up. Interior was great and as expected but exterior of property left something to be questioned due to the run down appearance.”

”Check in was easy and gentleman was very pleasant. Room was clean, large bathroom and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and room had all necessary things for a good nights rest. Large pool and hot tub available. Used the hot tub which was great after a long days drive. Better breakfast than most! Will stop again as I travel through over the next couple of weeks.”

”All good overall! One negative which is not fault of facility was access due to road torn up, coming over rubber/plastic mats and curb caused bottom of vehicle to contact ramps. Only other minor thing is noise at times from other rooms appear to echo and travel through hot water baseboard heaters. Not terrible but odd when it occurs.”

”The breakfast at Americinn in Detroit Lakes is excellent! It includes four hot entrees, in addition to fresh waffles, fruit, breads, and yogurts. Even the 24 hr coffee table is well stocked with green, herbal and black teas and 3 types of coffee. The staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming too. We required emergency accommodations and this hotel helped us out tremendously with its availability and cost effectiveness.”
