”We were looking to bring our anxiety-ridden, reactive and bitey dog with us for a test run road trip. This cottage was perfect to get out of town a couple hours away and give that a try! We are also massive nerds, so the decor was spot on for us. Hosts were great and helped out with the one issue we had in the kitchen. Overall fantastic and wonderfully quiet. We essentially road tripped to do a staycation and it was exactly what we needed!”

”This property had plenty of "toys" for the lake and great fishing off the dock. Only issue was keeping upstairs cool. We stayed during an unusal hot spell for Minnesota, so maybe this was a one time issue. The area has a variety of things to do. Loved that property was on an isolated road.”

”The house was in a great location and close to town. A wonderful surprise was the chest freezer to store all of the fish. The washer and dryer was also a nice bonus. The dock was a little challenging because of the depth and wind. Also, the electrical for a boat needs to be run from the home. I would stay here again the host and hostess were very accommodating. There is enough room for everyone and plenty of things to do. Beautiful sunset and the water is clean.”

”Simply wonderful. The memories made here will last our family a lifetime. Everything you need all in one beautiful place. Very clean, had everything you need for a getaway plus included extras. Our kids loved the kayaks and the sandbar near the island gives a great place to enjoy the water. Fishing was great! Great communication with owner, they are very sweet and helpful. Great experience!”

”The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...

”The pool and hot tub were excellent. Beds were average to above average. King-size bed is really a Queen. Comfortably sleeps 10 upstairs and 11downstairs. Living room furniture is ready for replacement along with the patio chairs. It was fun being able to get 8 chairs around the table for food and games. Appliances, kitchen items and linens were perfect. Loved having a good washing machine and dryer. Overall, loved being there. Would love to stay there again sometime.”

”This place has everything! Our group ranged from 2 - 82 years old. Plenty of space, quiet neighborhood/lake, and the views are spectacular!! The pontoon is an awesome amenity although we caught many fish right off the dock! All of the indoor & outdoor activites are top notch; highly recommend this place! It was wonderful to meet the owners, such nice ladies!”

”Beautiful house, lots of outdoor seating areas with a lake view. We enjoyed the fire pit with the complimentary wood bundle. Our group consisted of 8 women over 60, and we found the proximity to Carlos Creek Winery perfect for our plans. We slept two in each room and one on each of the two pullout sofa beds.”
